Hey everyone. I've had a neat set of Skyline pictures on my memory card for some time, just looking at them every now and then and drooling :) but I discovered today that my USB stick and PS2 like each other, and so is born my little gallery for you all to see 👍

Any feedback is much appreciated, I need some pointers for the future!

some of them are a little bit dark but then so are everyones pics :)

I was a bit dubious about using Trial Mountain as my first gallery track, because it just is dark everywhere! I'll fiddle with the brightness in future though.

I love all the photos, my personal favourites are number one, then the first one on the third row, then the last two :D the second one on the second row I like as well. Some I could do better with :indiff:

I think the next update will be... a Skyline R32 GT-R!

Nice pics, I gotta agree with the others, those pics are dark, but nice none the less. Check out my gallery sometime when you get the chance :)
 
no.. he doesn't like skylines.. he loves them so much that it's almost unnatural! :lol: oh well, I don't go that far, but it's nice car, and will get even better soon.. :dopey:
 
Here is a tip... Run that thing through the Car Wash! It looks like it is really dull and has no luster! Just a tip! And also, put your exposure up to +4 or +5 as well as putting the white balance a tick or two to the red side. It gives the shot a more natural look IMO. Take alot of shots, and from a lot of different angles. And to take great side panning shots, try to get a camera far away from the car on the side and set the shutter speed to 160-320, depending on how fast you are going, and set the arperature as high as it will go. And than try to pick different points on the car to focus on (which is done by moving the crosshairs over the spot and pressing square) to get the best blur. Just some suggestions. You can check out my gallery and see some of my shots if you want. You might get some ideas or something. I just did a shoot with the same car in the same color, so.... Have a nice day!:)

I'll probably print that off now 👍👍 Thanks a lot! about the car wash... Hmm, you might be right! She has about 47,000mi on her and I don't think I've ever washed her :guilty:

Hey, check my Skyline update sometimes! It's on page 14 if I recall right. How about dumping those black bars under your pictures, they spoil the shots a little. :)

At last, the update has arrived. So much free time has been lost this week, sorry for the delays! All comments/suggestions welcome!

Skyline GT-R34 (M.N.P.) @ the Nordschleife


Never again am I putting up such a huge update.. Forty-four pictures is simply too much for me to upload and you to view! Anyway... Hope you enjoy it!

There's a bit of a toss-up between #6 and #7... I couldn't decide whether I preferred focus on the track or the car in that shot, so I took both :)

Tell me about it.. I shouldn't have used the Nordschleife :lol: it's too long! Some parts are just too good to miss out, but there seems to be 44 of them so... :indiff: you got a big update!

Cheers Greycap. It'd take far too long to come up with a favourite, wouldn't it?

Next update will probably be something a bit more powerful, JGTCs, the GT-R LM, maybe a NISMO R-Tune or 400R. Something nice and fast, on a circuit like Montegi or El Capitan.

You're right, but they don't look nearly that dark on the TV screen! I'm brightening them as much as I think's necessary on the TV, but the transfer over to PC darkens them a bit... That's lack of experience for you :p I'll up the exposure a few clicks in future!

No such huge update is to be expected again, I can tell you all :p too much to do!

I appreciate you looking through all of the pictures Duck, a task in itself, and I'll return the favour as soon as I can! I won't look now because I'm a bit pushed for time and not on my computer, but I'll get a look in soon 👍

Oh, and I've decided on the next update, it'll probably be the GT-R LM Concept Race Car at Laguna, taken from qualifying and racing videos for the ESES. In fact, I might well take some shots of the GT-R LM every time I use it in the Series, but it might get a bit dull :p

Good work! 👍 really like the first one, this one is much brigthter, now you just have to edit that Nurb update and make em all brighter on your computer :lol: :cheers:
