This driver drove a Lexus IS-F at Fuji Speedway F. The car was equipped with Data Logger Visualization technology, and the real-life lap was rendered in GT5. The time the driver set was 2:04.42.
After having recently noticed that the real life SLS AMG actually uses comfort soft tires (instead of the default sports hard tires as GT5 suggests), I decided to go to arcade mode in GT5 and drive a Lexus IS-F at Fuji using Comfort Softs, in an attempt to recreate another "GT5 VS Real Life" scenario. I beat the driver by about 6 seconds, at 1:58.74. I figured that the tires I used were too grippy, so I switched to Comfort Mediums, and ended up with a more accurate 2:02.63. I tried Comfort Hards as well, but was much too slow at 2:06.22.
So what's the best time that you can set in GT5's arcade mode at Fuji Speedway F using the "Arcade Only" version of the Lexus IS-F running on Comfort Mediums? Post your lap time, and specify what controller/assists you used. I'm not doing a "best-time" leaderboard list here simce I am too lazy.
