Look at the spreadsheet I posted ages ago, it covers PS2 to GT7, there’s top fuel dragsters, rally-cross and others that never made it to a game.
This is the remaining list from 1.42 minus the two released in 1.43, this list is pooled by the game as they’ve been used in the game at some point during development.
It has been 100% accurate from list to game so far.

- "dmc12_stage1_81" is a doubtful one. It was originally used for an unused car logo file in GT4.
- "r18_tdi_11_wr" is the "battle damage" 2011 R18 TDI from GT Sport that was cut from this game, so don't expect that to be back.
- "s15_silvia_specr_aero_02" is the S15 TC, a car that's already in the game, except the IDs and the filename for the PS3-era and current S15 TC were changed completely (now to "s15_silvia_specr_tc_xx"), presumably due to the radically different design between the two.

This is mostly a fine selection but I have no idea how there’s no DC5 Integra, NB Roadster, 599 Fiorano and C5 Corvette.

As we stand today this list looks pretty accurate in terms of remaining DLC candidates for GT7. PD also seem to be adding the occasional additional car too. I can't recall a list that included the GT-ONE, LFA, RSR etc., although I may be mistaken. It would be nice to get more solid data on which tracks are imminent - although I guess this is harder to judge unless events are uncovered.
Any updates that include the trio of Lancia rally cars, Quattro S1, 812 Superfast, 430 Scuderia, 911 Turbo S, Catherham Seven, 500E etc. would be pretty popular. A few like the original R35 GT-R, Silvia, RX-7 could be considered filler - then again they could also be dropped (or mistakes) like some others!

Really are plenty cars to add. The 2002 contingent and R31 and Caterham are my top choices. Every other car on the list are still pretty damn good additions. Even though the V40 is a potent model, it’s probably the only normal car on the list. I wouldn’t name the MX-5s as normal though.

Just skimmed that original car list again. As someone that used to own an '07 Audi A6 Avant, I would really like it if PD could hurry up and add that RS6 Avant. I need me some go-fast wagon action!

The Silvia is just the Gr.4 Touring Car version that's already in the game - it was an RM in GT5, so that entry is probably either just a leftover or they changed IDs for it at some point. Either way, that's not going to be added again so it's one people can cross off their lists.
