Everytime i put gt5 on just before the main menu i get a message
"Date and time are wrong go to setting and set them"
My date and time are right on my ps3 settings and cant find any setting in game to change.
The time on screen is 1hour fast.
How do i fix?

I was getting the same message. You cannot "fix" this in the game. You have to "fix" it in your PS3's menu, under settings.

What I had to do was turn off Daylight Savings, and all was good. Oddly enough, I am GMT -07:00 but my time was still off an hour. I turned off Daylight Savings, and my time corrected itself. Went back to the game, and the error message was gone. I haven't had any issues since.

Hope this helps.

Yeah I live in nebraska and the auto time is off by an hour.. and if I switch daylight savings its off by 2... think sony has a glitch on its date and time update... that's been going on forever

I did all that too, but I still get the message.
Tried different time settings, that didn't help either.
Gave up on it for now.

Does your timezone match your account type? For example, if I am -07:00, I had better be using a US account, for example.

How do you change from 24hr times to 12hhr times. My regular time on the XMB is 12hr and the time on GT5 is the 24hr.

No DST needs, it's easier! To fix it, tell the PS3 via XMB to check the time via Internet, instead of manually. That fixed it for me!! It was funny because GT5 said it was, say, 17:05 while my PS3 was at 17:00. It looks like it loses time little by little. GT5 doesn't as it's constantly connecting to the GT5 servers. (Yes, PS3 connects to PSN all the time, but it looks like the time is only looked if you ask it to do so via the XMB Time and Date menu)

I had the problem I just set the time on ps3 allowing it to get the time from the I Internet.

I have mine to get the time from the internet as well. I guess that's why my time was off an hour because of Daylight Savings, the "internet" was already adjusting for that hour.

Like others have said, if you set it by the internet it should fix the problem. I had to do this a few times in Prologue as well.

Or Canada for that matter.

My time is correct (set via internet, works for PlayTV) in XMB, but GT5 says it's wrong and gives me the wrong time by 1 hour.
