Hi all,

Not sure whether this is a repeat of previous threads but I was just wondering what stories you guys have of big A spec point wins.

For me, the best races have been in the boxer engine cup, where my Subura Impreza concept rally car has been up against some of the RUF's including the Yellowbird and RGT. In particular, I had some great races on Infineon, starting at the back of the grid and taking chunks out of the RUF leads up till the end.

What also seemed to help was the undulating nature of the tracks, which I suspect in conjunction with tyre wear made the RUF's gradually slower by the end of race.

Some excellent races though, with around 105-115 A spec points being won.

I also saved the replays, would anybody be interested in a section on the site for xport / max drive saves of good races?

Or does a 115 A spec point win pale in comparison to the efforts of some of you guys. Lets hear about (or preferrably see) the best races you've had.

aspec points don't always tell the true toughness of the battle.. i've raced a 200aspec point fight in an unmodded 1954 c1 vette convertible with the top car being a 350z vert. Though, i think that was a lot easier than the sunday cup autumn ring mini in a fully modded 54 citroen 2cv :P

Take the NSX-R concept - no upgrades except maybe nitrous - soft racing tires

A-Spec points vary between 183 - 189 on the city courses at level 10.

The toughest race I've won ....
Special Conditions
Sazuka Wet, Stock Ford F-150 lightning vs. Lancer Evo
Took me about 6 tries to beat him ;)

The most A-Spec points I have ever won (not including the truck races in the Beginner League which give you 199-200 points for no good reason) is about 89 in the Spider/Roadster trophy. I just had to make sure I made no serious errors and didn't let the car in front get too far away. It took me a while to catch him, but I finally managed to take him on the penultimate corner of Motegi. 👍

I had a battle too with an impreza at boxer spirit, but the toughest so far,was with an audi lemans full modification,at tsukuba wet hard.200 points, and made me sweat till the end of the fifth lap-0.0something behind me...And all of this for a ...white :yuck: ford gt which doesnt have any value... :)

I got 200 points a race with a stock Suzuki GSX-R/4 in the NA tune race with 40 kgs of ballast. I also managed that many points with a nitrous sniffing Cappucino in the FR race. The FR race was easy, the NA race was a little more challenging but very rewarding. Now, how many more points do need before I can open up that paint shop? I want to paint my '88 Camaro the color of bondo and primer.

The missions rack up the points nice and quickly. 250 points for each one, and when you complete sets of them you get some very exotic cars. I'm currently working toward the Jay Leno Tank car, and these 3-lappers are hurting me (supposedly they work on the passing techniques you'd learned in earlier missions, but I got all of the passes first try and have failed to get through even one of the 3-lap missions).

man ive had soo many 200 point battles its hard to remember, but most of them are manufacturer races, i just pic soft tires, upgrade the drivetrain, and stick some nitrous on for emergencies. I love manufacturer races like that 200pt race after 200pt race! :dopey:

Do the wet race in normal mode in the Mazda 6 touring car that you actually win in that race and you earn about 200 A spec points. You can then sell the car again and make an easy 95000 credits. 👍

Most A-spec point I got in a race was 200. That was the Pick Up Truck Car Race. I had a Dodge Charger tuned up, and I won, easily. The best races I've had are probably with the Tourist Trophy at Audi, with my Audi TT. Those weren't many points races, but they were fun to race, and they were close. I really loved those races.

Further, I've won one of my races at Infineon thanx to my NOS at the very last straight, at the beginning of the straight I was 3rd, but I finished first.:) That was one of the few times I actually use my NOS.:)

What if you enter an identical (nearly as we can tell) car to the best AI car in the race? What are the A-Spec points for that?

Actually that was 1 of my Fav races I also saved a replay Its not the points but the car is much slower than the other and you can only win with good driving.Oh and that car has great handling .

I just won a 165 pt. race in Schwarzwald Liga A in a stock 1998 Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor at Opera Paris. The pole car was an Audi A3.2 (I think...definitely an Audi) and we battled for the lead all throughout laps 3 and 4 but I managed to hold him off for a half-second win. All of those races were at least 150 pts.

In the Shelby manufacturer race, take a Series 1 '03 against all the Cobras and win 200 points per race. the Series 1 is 'da bomb' drove a perfect race. Had to save the reply to see it weaving its way through the 5 cobras to victory.

Go pick up a Dodge Ram, equip with every avialable modification. Make sure u get the Center Differential Controller, set that to 30% torque to the front wheels. Lower the ride as far as you can. Get the tires needed for the race. Then enter the NA Series Race in the professional hall. You should win easily and depending what the other lead car is you can get a possible 200 A-Spec points.

These races are a lot of fun. With a slightly modded Series 1 I was getting around 140 per race. I had a tough time, but the GT 350 I got for winning those was well worth it. :D

Hey, I found a great way to get big A spec points!!

First, punch in the AR Max code for "Disable AI".

Next, assuming you have your Super license. Buy a Toyota Vitz if you don't already have one, and get into it.

Then, go into one of the Extreme tournaments, enter the race in A spec, turn off AI and do your laps!!

Works great!!

My record for points is 200. Took on an SLR McLaren on Tskuba wet in a Impreza Rally Car.

One point. At least that's what I got racing the Buick Special in the World Classic Car event against another Buick Special and an AC Cobra, after trying several times with other lower-powered cars and getting crushed by the AI Buick. :D

Most points I earned for a race was 200 in the Skyline series with a stock midnight purple Skyline GT-something something V-something (who can keep the 30 different Skyline designations straight? ;) ). Won one event completely stock for 200 points, and a second with a chip and some driveline mods for 183 points. Very close races both times.

I've won the first 4 races of the Pan Euro Championship using a modded 111R Elise. At the time... I had just the right combination of mods to make each race range from 160 - 200 A-spec points.

I couldn't (and still haven't) won the last race at the nurburgring, though. I can't keep up past 150mph. Hahaha

With the variety of comments recieved so far, is it fair to assume that 200 is the maximum number of A-spec points that can be won in a single race?

Apologies if this has already been detailed elsewhere in the forums.

I too earned 200 A-spec points on Tsukuba Wet driving an Amuse tuned S2000 (the 50,000.Cr one) against a Mclaren-Mercedes SLR, or a Saleen S7 or a Ford GT, whatever it threw at me.
Did the German Touring Car championship in the Alfa 156 Touring car and was making around 95 to 105 per race.
Generally A-spec points don't concern me. There's no reward for earning them, they don't unlock anything...why try to earn huge amounts? If I do then it's by accident. I'd rather finnish a race nice and quick!

The hardest 200pt race i have had so far (and actually won) was beating the Audi R8 on Tsukuba Wet (hard) with the Toyota Rally Raid car. I tried multiple times but always drew the Sauber and couldn't beat it until finally getting the Audi.

i did the whole supercar league on pro in the mclaren SLR un tuned (of course)
and got between 90 and 160 points per race.

also 60 points per race in the Formula GT, all the cars are identical in that one

Medium Tsubuka Wet against the Ford GT in a slightly modded Crossfire. I think all I had was the chip and a semi race exhaust. 200 A spec points for that one. He had me on the straights but I could get around the corners a bit quicker and get on the the throttle harder out of the turns. Close race though!

200 points EVERYSINGLE TIME, when racing in the Opel Roadster Race.
the Opel can have every single upgrade:
HP mods - BUT make that a stage 2 turbo, (Stage 3 = 16?)
Drivetrain
Wieght Reduction
Tires - BUT make that Medium Racing Tires
Brakes
Suspension
Roll Cage
you'll get 200 points everytime and a REALLY tough race.

200pts against the S7 at Tsukuba Wet in the special conditions hall driving the M3 CSL (love that car :) ) he had me on the straight but i had him for dinner in and out of the corners, beat him by 0.3 of a second :scared:

my highest point race was 150pt in a mustang cobra r. and fun races with a drift cobra r lol was a 10pt race, i stayed in second untill the last stairt on sonoma lol made a wicked vid 👍
