Daytona Road is one of my favorite tracks but even after doing the circuit experience and racing several hundred laps there I still don’t really understand the optimal racing line during the banking section. Is it better to be low on the bank, high on the bank, high on the bank but cut to the lower section for some downhill pace?

Any guide guides on this?

Ideally from my experience and years of watching the Rolex 24, you want to be low on the banking. Only time you really need to be high is if you get a better exit then another car in front going onto the banking (NASCAR 1 & 2 as well as the Bus stop) and they are inside or if you get a tow and draft them.

Video of mine from last month as an example:

Funny you mention the Rolex24, I'm currently watching the replay on YT for 2023. I have seen '21 and '22 last week and have 24/25/26 in waiting....
