I do not support the hacking in our lobbies, but I cannot simply kick a member every time I see a hacked car, though I want to sometimes. I don't mind the cool hacks that GT5-Man does, such as removing a wing on an R35. I really hate when I hacked midget passes me going 200MPH on the highway, though. So what do you guys think should be done about the hacking in our lobbies?

I cruise in my hybrid Ford GT, albeit with the occasional chase. If a nonmember is doing something stupid like with that hacked Midget, kick their :censored:s outta there.

Although I really do want to see a Midget do that.

Enforce by police and allow citizens to report a redic. hack. Ask the person to change car (automatic 3/3) and if they dont change, I support a kick, 100%.

Sometimes I use my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution without a wing and 600 HP. I'm OK with realistic hacks. When I host my lobbies, I don't allow crazy hacks like the one you mentioned above or a car with its ride height very high up. So, I think we should allow hacked cars in our lobbies, BUT not the crazy ones. What do you think DBeav12? Should I make a poll on the website for everyone to vote? Or only the Admins and Moderators of the club vote because it's an important topic.

Honestly, I think REALISTIC hybrids are fine. But something that is realistic to one person may not be realistic to someone else, and that's the problem. The 700 hp limit helps establish this. Anything that can not be lowered to at least 700 hp is most likely an unrealistic hybrid. I have no trouble lowering the horse power down to 700 hp in most of my hybrids. It also has to do with the driver. Just because I'm in a Ford GT that's a little bit faster than it should be doesn't mean I get to speed and run away from the cops. I have no problem cruising in my Hybrid cars. However, some people feel the need to take advantage and that's what upsets me. Lets be honest, everybody enjoys giving their car a little bit of gas every now and then; but, some people constantly speed and that's what irritates me.

It's a good thing I can lower my GT's horsepower from 1,392 to like 530.

Agreed - Just down right annoying.

I saw a Dodge Ram in a lobby today, that was about 3 stories high from hacking, and flew through me at God knows how fast. A floating truck is a bad truck.

Depends on how much hp and what kind of hybrid. I have a e type with a zo6 engine swap and a solstice with a 04 gto swap and they are below 700 hp I'm fine with those kind of hybrids.

Why I should let you be a member?: I would like to try something different and now these hacks are out I can actually do the swaps that I see on the tracks and streets in real life. Plus I just love legit cruises with no nonsense civilized races and real cruises.

Anything else you want to share?: I work at nite for now at FedEx from 11:30 pm-7:30am but am free all weekend after 12 pm. I also hacked my GT5 file but all I did was swap my honda engines around lowered them and added some more power so they make max out at like 700 which I never race them at. I stay at the 4-500 range. Like I said in my last post, if it was up to me, I'd kick a hybrid everytime one entered my lobby-member or not. I don't care what engine is in it or what you did to it, a hybrid is a hybrid. But, obviosly I'm not gonna do anything about it because I would probably have to kick 70% percent of members . So just keep using them I guess, just try not to use anything...excessive or unreasonable. That is my rant for the day...👍

As I said above, a hybrid is a hybrid. But I really don't mind the part removal and that type of stuff. I just get fed up with people using unreasonable hybrids.

Exactly. Hybrids should not be banned. With a 700 hp limit in every single one of our lobby's I don't see them becoming a problem. Generally, it's the randoms who will drive out of control. If they become a disturbance, just kick them. I rarely ever see members causing that much trouble.

The realistic hybrids imo have given an old game new life, with good self control you, and others can enjoy them, visually and performance-wise.
Just look at Ferraridude's Viper GTS a few pages back, everyone fell in love with it, and its just a simple chassis-swap and nothing else.

The 700hp limit helps keep most hybrids in check, and if there's a clear hyper-hack, the 'warn/kick' sounds fair enough.
Regardless, I personally don't see hybrids jeopardizing GT's future, either PD is too focused on GT6 or distracted by their 'race-efforts' to be concerned atm, or Sony doesn't want to upset a large portion of future-profits.

Actually, I think that it was doomed ever since the X1 was brought into the game, as without it, we wouldn't have had the X1-500, which imo, is the worst and stupidest one and I think it was one of the ones that were first made, even compared to the Midget.

Does anyone remember the Midget security cart? That would be PERFECT for La Sarthe, although it would be knocked off the track by other cars, unless it had extra weight and a wide chassis swap.
