it was in san diego as well. the game itself, as well as the wheel, was unimpressive, but the seat was solid and impressive. I'd rather have my personal cockpit, which apparently costs about a thirtieth the price, any day of the week.
 
We've got two of them, in a little bigger, in a Mall here.
It's fun for a go or two, specially if you race against a friend.
But after that I rather have my own setup again, even though it doesn't move ;)
 
hmm looks like hes on a superbike by the amount that is lifting up and down, kind of unrealistic :/

You're not recreating actual vehicle movement. You're recreating or trying to recreate G forces. I don't understand why people haven't grasped this concept.

When you're in the seat you're not supposed to be looking at the surrounding environment, you're supposed to be focused on the screen.

If this simulator had a bubble or canopy to block out the outside world and maybe a wrap around screen you'd probably be more impressed in the drivers seat.
