Dealing with a ricer

hey i have a kid in my class who thinks the fast and the furious is what real driving is and he thinks he knows everything about cars. the thing is i know for a fact i know more then him but this guy could get his friends to gang up on me and kill me (not literally) but i want to set this ricer straight. i'm 14 so i can't drive and beat him in a race lol he would use his nos. how should i go about humiliating him in front of everyone in the class?
 
Why don't you just ignore him? It's not worth arguing over anyway.

Just ask him some technical questions and he'll probably come off looking like an idiot.

This reminds me of the one time I saw a skyline in person. There were all these kids around it oogling and all. Behind it was an Aston Martin DB7 and a Lotus Esprit (IMO greater cars than the R33 GTR). I heard some of the most ludacris things....the worst of all being 'No way he got it at Nissan, those only come from the Fast and Furious dealership'.

Most school-concentration acid you'd have to drink 3 pints of before it did anything. Trust me on this one (I'm a school science technician... :D).

We were doing a dynamics trolley experiment with our Year 8s (12-13). A dynamics trolley is basically a luimp of wood with wheels and a bit of card to break the beams in a light gate (so you can determine speed - distance between the gates and the time taken to cover it).

When asked how we could make the trolley faster, one kind put his hand up and said "NOS!"... He didn't need anyone to humiliate him... :D

Remember to tell him to double clutch properly when shifting to go faster in the quarter mile :D
 
i was thinking of asking him what the japenese acura rsx was cuz he thinks acura is the best car company but knowone would care. this guy is seriously the most "car-impared" person i know, but everyone in my class thinks he is a car god i don't know why, lol and another guy thinks that blowers "inside" an engine makes them faster and he said he was going to put one in his civic when he got one

i would ask himtechnical questions but considering how stupid most of the people in my class are they would think i was an idiot for not knowing that nos is the best thing for speed and a well made engine has nothing to do with a car preformance:rolleyes: lol i just remembered what he said the other day,it was "when i get my car i'll cruise down the quarter mile with my spinner steering wheel and i'll be pumpin' the beat"

yeah but like i said he would get his friends to beat me up ( im not a big kid) and he fought (sp?) my friend and was humping him. don't wanna be humped by a guy.

Why don't you get him in a point where you have computer access and have the ability to look up the answers to the technical questions
 
Ah yeah forgot about his "friends" then. They all F&F idiots then. I've had a lot of that in school though it's not really bad. It's from my friends arguing that NFS:U is way better than GT. That was sorted by me whipping their time in something but I doubt that would work for you.
 
^^^ that might work maybe sometime in study class (for doing work in any subject) and i'll ask him some questions and he will ask me some and i will "shame him" as he says
 
Ask him the steps of changing a car's oil, out loud, then say "I guess I'll see you driving around in an oil dripping (name car here, preferably '80s Cavalier or Taurus, something stupid like that) in 2(if you guys are 14) years."

Then, as he starts his revenge, before he can get a few words out, throw acid in his face.

Acid is great.

Better yet, tell him(when he gets a car) to take the airbox off because his car will be faster, then go out and find a dusty dirty road and go for a drive, see how long it'll go inhailing dust. :)
Or, alternatively(or at the same time), tell him that if he shifts his auto(which he's bound to have) manuely and into nuetral inbetween gears, that he'll get 150% more power and speed. Then go with him, and instruct him to start in nuetral, and rev it up, then, while revved, shift it to 1, get to the redline, shift it to nuetral, then to 2, then nuetral, then drive or whatever. Also, remind him that when he stops he should shift to park even if it's at a stop light, and not to shift out of park unless he's going to take off from a stop.

What ever happened to "your momma" jokes? You could probably just give him one of those. Don't worry about trying to make him look like an ass because if you try to talk about anything outside the world of F&F, nobody will know what you are talking about. Trust me, it isn't worth your time. Let him be and laugh at him in a couple years when he is ricing out his mom's old Accord or whatever.
 
i think i will just wait until i meet him on the road with his CIVIC!!!! (the best car in the world btw).....yeah right and i stomp him in my nissan lol (i can dream....about the nissan that is)
 
When he gets a car:

1. "Carmelize" his engine.

2. Hot glue tacks to his windshield wipers

I'll post more when I think of them

Edit: Oh, and you're a skyline freak. Almost as bad as being a Honda freak.

Then politely point out that "Fox Force Five" was a fake TV show from the film "Pulp Fiction"...
 
The F&F and the sequal they are good movies to WATCH. There's a difference in watching and pretending to be Brian Occonner. That dirt road idea, that's a good one. Because if he were so brainy hed know that your not supposed to do that.

There's also some s*****ad in my class who thinks he's the man about knowing things about cars. It's quite funny to listen to when he use these terms in the wrong place.

hey 240z i like all nissans not just skyline but i do like skylines alot and silvias and despite what everyone says i'd take a datsun 240 over any car ( i saw one drive down the street and i asked my mom to follow it so i could see if the guy would sell it in two years...... she didn't).
 
Cool. It just irritates me when people say "(car name here) can beat any car." I like 240s, but I know they are not the best, especially when compared to modern cars.
 
yeah i know skylines aren't the best but compared to some cars they are alot better such as civics. i'm not saying someone could take a skyline and win any race with it...(they would need to get all license tests gold first.....im just kidding thats probably what jamie(the kid) would say)
