Okay,

All of the governments in the world have collapsed, Nomads roam freely, taking what they want and leaving the corpses behind. One day, you, (being the Marine you were) decide to take on the leader of the Nomadic group, but you need to fight your way there, what weapons would you chose to get there?

This is what I would chose:

Dual Baretta 9mm's w/ Laserpointers, dual slings, and silencers.

MP5 w/ the same as above.

An aluminum baseball bat w/ holster on my back for it.

What would you chose?
 
A sawed off shotgun and the Last Great V8...duh :rolleyes:

You know, the people that post here, are not the same from gamefaqs, but I think I might be wrong, and you get some replies here and there.

well...my right hand is usually enough, but just in case, I'd keep a 20lb. sledge hammer at my side :D
(I had a major obsession with using them to *fix* things that wornt mine :p)

Where the hell am I trying to get to, exactly? If by "there" you mean the position of leader of the Nomadic people then I'd choose no weapon, and I'd choose not to be the leader. I hate people. The last thing I'd want to be is a leader of a bunch of smelly assed homeless people.:odd:

How does everyone screw up "Beretta", it's pronounced "Beretta", not "Baretta", too.

And while I'm pissing and moaning about being proper, which version of the MP5 are you talking about? There's only about 20...

And there's no sling device for pistols.

Anyway, I'd beat everyone to death with my six iron.

For weapons you'll need
a Desert Eagle, chrome plated of course.
.357 Python revolver
For something a little longer range...30-06
And for some lets beat the hell outta em M4 Carbine

But hell if old station wagons are roaming around I'd say I'd run and be scared cause a world with Nomads is a bad place to be.
 
AK-47, reliable and lots of ammo available, perfect for the post apocalyptic hell-world.

Dual .50AE Desert Eagles (in anodised-silver finish) and a Katana.
Then I'd have 2 guys wearing Islamic style clothes with AKs.

Id of course be wearin Neo style clothes and doing barrel rolls while popping of shot-after-shot of deagle ammo into my Nomadic foes, but Id use the katana to finish the Job.
 
One long katana; one short katana; I hold one in each hand...

I don't care about how I spell "Baretta", (But you have a good point), the SWAT style MP5, and yes, there are slings for pistols, (Trust me, it was in a Chuck Norris Movie). Here is a picture of them:

A Soviet Army Issue AKM Assault Rifle. While you guys are screwing around maintaining your MP5s and such, my gun will take a beating and just continue to work.

It'd be equipped, by the way, with the following optional parts:
Bipod
Aimpoint
Sniper scope
Extra barrel (extended)
10 rds. Magazine
100 rds. drum magazine
Supressor (there is no such thing as a silencer)

With this equipment, I would have a highly adaptable, configurable, reliable weapon. With the Bipod, scope, long barrel, and short magazine, it would be a great sniper weapon, with the Drum and bipod, it could lay down serious supressing fire.

I would also carry an IMI Uzi Submachine gun for close combat, with an optional supressor. (Reliable and accurate)

And finally, a SiG Sauer P228 pistol, just in case I needed it.
