There's no function in our forum software that allows users to delete their own account. I'm not exactly sure why this is, but it does prevent a user from deleting their account, only to have someone else quickly re-register their name to impersonate them. I do have the ability to delete accounts, but I do not do it (nor will my staff) because it is a time consuming task that distracts the moderation team from more important duties. If you don't want to use your account any more, simply change your email address to something @example.com and it will be impossible for us to contact you again. To second what daan said, why exactly do you want to delete your account? Any feedback you could provide may help me improve the site.

That's why I suggested example.com. It's a reserved domain name by the IANA which can be used for examples or in documentation by anyone on the internet. Nobody will ever receive email at that domain.I'd feel sorry for someone who ends up getting the emails by chance.
Although having said that, if someone has an email ending in @example.com they're asking for it.
