Deleted Game Data - created tracks/records/photos gone for good?

Remember when 40gigs was alot? Well that's how much my ps3 came with 4 years ago. Got burned out of GT for just a few months and wanted to make room for some psn games and some music, so I deleted the 10gig game data file. I just fired GT5 back up a couple days ago and went with the minimal install, saved data loaded up fine, but all my photos, created tracks and lap records are gone. don't really care about the photos so much, but the created tracks and especially the lap records really $#%@@$ me off.

STUPID QUESTION OF THE DAY!!!.... Is there any way to recover any of this?
 
If you shared these tracks with friends you're in luck. Just have your friends share the tracks so you can download them. just know that you wont be able to edit them anymore.

Is there anyway of saving the tracks? other than sharing that is..

I'm not positive, but it should be in with the "game data" (not the save sata).

I can say that by deleting the game save but not the game data it keeps the custom tracks. I haven't tried backing them up and reloading them though.

But it looks like my response was too late, judging from your other thread.
