deleting old threads in GT3 and GT4

Hi, can someone please explain how the deleting of old threads in the GT3 section here works? (eg is it done automatically? does it "trimmed" by a mod at random intervals?)

I am thinking of going back to the GT3 tuning section, but since my previous threads got deleted I'd like to know how long they'll last.

Also, what are the plans for the GT4 section? Will it start getting trimmed once GT5 comes out?

No threads get deleted nor do forums get pruned either manually or automatically, unless I am very much mistaken... according to your profile, you have created 18 threads, mostly in the GT3 and GT4 tuning sections... are there others that you think have been deleted? If you are unsure how to find your own threads, simply click the left number under "Posts:" directly under your avatar...

We don't delete any threads just because they're old.

When you go into those forums, you'll notice that the display options at the bottom of the page is only showing threads from the last year. Change that to "beginning" and you'll be sorted. 👍

Yep, that was exactly my problem. Now I can go back and laugh at my early theories on tuning...
