Demo shocks during TT

Well ive got a 60 gig, glitches 3 maybe 4 times a lap, 1080 but im running PS3 @ 720.

Oh just for the record, think MW2 has killed my blueray!!
 
I have a 80GB with PS2 compatibility (the one with Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle).
It froze only two times with me, i played around 2~3 hours, so, it's better than a lot of people here. If the game freezes 3~5 times for lap it must be really annoying ! >.<
I use the HD that comes with the game.

So, u got that harddrive installed yet? :) I'm really curious if it resolves the stuttering problem for more users. Might buy a 7.2k hdd aswell.

I have the glitch too mostly at finish line. Did replacing the HD fix the problem for everyone? I have a 60GB pal PS3. Also does this affect the lap time as this would be really annoying? Otherwise I'll just get this if it fixes the problem. Western Digital 2.5" HDD SATA 320GB 7200 rpm.
 
I have glitches, original 60GB HD replaced to 7200RPM 500GB 16M Cache... maybe it's because you guys with the new harddrives downloaded it again and PD fixed it or something?

Nah just used the data backup facility in the system settings or whatever it is.

For the record still hitch free here.

The last weekend of the time-trial, I noticed the hicks-ups had stopped. Weird? Anyone else can confirm this?

Afraid not Aresh, I was still getting hiccups on the last day, and even a few days before my national final.

Thankfully I noticed no such issues at the final itself.

I see. Perhaps I was so focused on improving my times I just didnt care anymore. Atm my ps3 is in for repairs, so cant check again :(

I never noticed much hic ups. Maybe your routers and what not are slow I'm guessing

I use a Netcomm wireless router that can go up to 1 meg a sec fine

About the HDD, I can't say the hickups are completely gone, but they aren't as bad as they used to be and the PS3 is working faster in general, so I'm still happy I changed it :).
