Thanks guys for the well wishes.
Here's the birthday report. Shortly after posting that message, ValexBird woke me up. An hour later, 15 minutes into my birthday, I was sleeping peacefully.
The morning was uneventful, work was rough most of the day. $8000 mistake on the framers part. Hit the office, at the end of the day and headed home. Made it home, valexbird was waiting, and looking fantastic. I cleaned up, and we joined some the neighbors (of which I shared a birthday with one) and we headed to the local pub.
Appetizers abound. Chicken Wings, Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, more wings, and 2 margaritas (done up the way I like them, Big.). Dinner arrived: Steak Tips (rare), Fried Shrimp and some rice on the side. 3 more Margaritas and we were headed for home.
Headed out to the garage for an end of night relaxer. 2 more margarita, and a Macanudo.
Then retired for the evening. Had thoughts of watching "Clerks II" but got distracted. Candles... yada, yada, yada (repeat for a hour). Glad the Sister-in-law wasn't home.
Valexbird made me one of my favorites, apple pie. Which I'll have some tonight while watching the movie.
All things considered, it was a most excellent evening and a fantastic birthday. Mostly because of my better half.
My birthday wish in return, is that you all could have as good a day as I did.
