First Brake hard and than ease off from the brake untill you can just hear the squeeling...

That works for me, I keep controll of the car and am slowing down pretty good.
I mostly use the brake config: front =7 rear = 5

Yeah, have to agree. I pump the brake sometimes or start with a light brake until right upon the corner and the clamp down.

That said, nothing beats experience. Years spent playing this series is the only reason I can say I'm fast. It's not being gifted that makes you a good racer, it's the man hours and practice that give you finesse.

The latter! I can't stop it, its everytime!

One thing to do is to pay attention to brake only in straight line before the corner. It could also be a problem with brake balance. Set the rear brakes a bit weaker than the front ones.

PS. Are you driving with ABS off?

Yep, you should be done breaking before you begin the turn, and get the power on as fast as possible as soon as you see the exit.

You can drasticly improve the speed through slow tight corners by applying a tiny bit of throttle during the tight turn with front or 4 wheel drive cars because the front wheels "pull" the car round the corner. You can also use "power oversteer" to pull the front round, but that requires a fine balance, too much and you'll spin it.
