I'm going there on the 18th can't wait. This will be my first Detroit auto show visit since I live on the west side of the state.

Ummm how about that New Chrysler 200 with 296hp and AWD with a sport mode that puts 60% of the power at the rear??

We're practically neighbors?

Detroit is hit and miss for me. As much as I like it's big news cycle, the Chicago Auto Show is my preferred one. It's a bigger venue, it's a better drive, and there's a hell of a lot more to do once you leave. It's worth giving that one a shot if you have the time in early February.

Not really that special. And it looks like a Hyundai.

It depends on how you want to look at it.

Considering that Chrysler hasn't had a legitimate competitor in the mid-size segment since, I dunno, 2004 or so... It's a pretty big step forward. The style is very derivative, but I can't say its unattractive. The powertrains are interesting, particularly the decoupling rear axle on the AWD V6 models. Beyond all of that, the pricing is pretty aggressive, too. Sounds like the top-trim model will start under $26K with the "pretty good" Tigershark 2.4L.

Chrysler knows it's target audience with this car; Budget-minded folks who are worried more about image than substance. It's main goal isn't to appeal to enthusiasts, so, I'm interested to hear what average folks think.

I wish I could go this year. My cousin is going in my stead, though. Can't wait to see all the great images. The only reason to go back home around this time of the year.

I heard they redid much of the Cobo Center, too. Errrrrrrrrr...! Next time

Lovin the bmw M235i. Glad BMW hasn't entirely lost it and will still continue to build small, relatively light weight, FR sport coupes with manual transmission.

I've actually seen one in person months before the release and really liked it. I almost like it more than the M3/4.

Any one gonna go to the DUB part of the auto show? I saw on their website that it's at the Cobo center too during the Detroit show.
