Hey GTP world horrible feeling i already know the answer to this but here goes anyway. I have a 14 month old DFGT coinciding with the dreaded bug thats flying about (thought my problem was bug:ouch:) my accelerator pedal has started to "stutter" im having to push really hard to get maximum acceleration its mainly around 4th gear the power suddenly drops off slightly not much but enough to cost vital time:yuck:
Ive tried it offline to make 100% sure it wasnt the "bug problem" same stutter effect. DS3 is fine so its deffo the wheel fairly sure its time for a new one (14 months!!) but thought i would see if anyone else has had the same problem?

Thanks in advance,

JB.👍

To add any advice on a new one please wouldnt go a miss.:indiff:

Can't you just look on eBay and see if you can get pedals on there own, maybe someones wheel has broke but pedals are ok.

True but might only be your cheapest option.
Or get yourself a G27

My DFGT is over two years old and I haven't noticed anything like this. The worst I noticed is some wear on the steering gears which is bound to happen, but still works fine.

You must really step on it. lol. My DFPro pedals are about 8 years old and my DFGT pedals are about 2 and both sets feel perfect. Luckily they're interchangable so I have a spare set.

I haven't had any issues with mine thankfully. but as G mentioned I would look for some used pedals off ebay. or you can get another dfgt used fairly cheap.

I would just upgrade to a G27 if you can afford to spend the extra money and you're buying another wheel anyway. But who am I to tell you how to spend your money lol.

Thanks rumble found a G27 over here for £160 just trying to convince the powers that be!:scared::sly:

Aha! So it might not have been the bug.
When I was looking on ebay for my wheel I saw a couple of pedal sets for sale so you might be in luck 👍

I have the same problem with my pedals. I've actually got a spare set of pedals from my previous DFGT that has a different problem with the wheel itself, but I don't want to use them because I've modified the brake pedal for more resistance and I don't feel like doing it again.

I had a problem with my DFP pedals a little while ago, I don't know if it's the same as what you've got, though. Basically I'd apply full throttle but the bars in GT5 would show about 80% throttle, and anywhere between 0 and 100% pedal the bar would flicker up and down rapidly. I opened the pedals up to have a look, in the end I decided it was because the pots weren't being held in place properly... Upon closer inspection there was a dead moth tucked up inside the little notch that the pot's tab sits in (this won't make much sense to DFGT users, probably, because the pedals I had were ancient plastic pot versions, I have another DFP which uses bigger ones which are mounted differently so I imagine the DFGT has something else entirely.

Anyway, I removed the greasy dead moth (I say 'removed', it pretty much just dissolved when I touched it), reassembled the pedal box and it was fine, and still is.

In short, if you get a G27 send me your DFGT because my DFP is getting old. Cheers!

Since the G27 dosent fit my standard Wheel Stand Pro!:yuck: And so it goes on may get the screwdriver out and have a look and Berty no looks like it wasnt the bug mate terrible coincidence bah!!:ouch:
