has anyone used the x2010 with their DFGT?

i find it quite hard to keep the car in a straight line and the the wheel vibrates really bad to the point i dont wanna carry on the race incase its breaks. i have tried it with the force feedback right the way down but its still quite harsh.

anyone else had this problem? ive only experienced it with the x2010

thanks

lee

ya, you should turn FF down to make it lighter
My arms shoulders all hurt after i drive that thing. Cant be good for my wheel

My hands were soar after driving the X1 with the DFGT. I had mine on 10 force feedback the first time I've driven it and the wheel and I really had a worked out. I was sweating and the wheel was hot, not overheated but hot. If I do decide to take on the challenges again, I'll have to turn down the FF to 2, like someone else's advice to me.

I drove the X1 Proto with the DFGT (FFB=2) on the Top Gear Track and I found that once you get used to it its fine :)

As for straight lines it is easily controllable with FFB on 2. You do have to hold it straight though, so your hands will still hurt afterwards. Like some others have suggested, un-plug the wheel so you have no FFB :)

I agree that driving the X1 with the DFGT is harder than driving any other car, but seriously, if you can't keep the car straight then somethings' wrong with your upper-body strenght.

I have FFB on 10, power steering on and no problem driving the X1

So another vote for "go to the gym", or "there is no problem, you are imagining it". So far has not helped with fixing the problem with the wheel, but thanks anyway.

It's more difficult to drive the X2010 compared to other cars, but I still find it manageable. Turning on the power steering option (on the wheel settings) helps - and not just for the X2010, but for all cars.

Notice the ffb is tied to the G-force meter. Since X2010 tires has super glue grip and well as fast speeds any little movement will greatly increase the difference of G-force. The key is to keep this meter from going left and right from center down the straight by aiming the wheel a little off center either left or right then slowly move toward the center.
By the way all three of my wheels does this when driving X2010

Joy! Another useless suggestion! Thank you! Fancy posting a picture of yourself with all your gym toned muscles so we can see what we should be aiming for? We'll ignore the flab honest :)

If you are grinding with the x2010 turning front toe to 0.0 will stop a lot of shake on high speed straights. If you are doing the challenges there is not much you can do.

I ran 90@laguna in my carbon and my dfgt was hot at the end but never quit. I run FF10 etc.

When I did the Vettel challenge with the DFGT, I had FF set to 7. You do need a bit of a death grip on the wheel, but once you get used to it, it's not really all that bad.
