Hey everyone. Just got my DFGT and GT5. Needless to say, they're both <removed> awesome.

However, whenever I go into menus, I can't seem to move the cursor. I tried using the controller instead (setting it to port 1), but nothing works. I end up quitting the game and restarting it (it will work once, but if I, say do a race, then come back, it will then repeat the process). Funny thing is, when I quit the game, I can hear the sound effects of moving the cursor.

Also, the force feedback is crazy xD

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: Problem solved - Thanks NFSCARBON1!

I'd say try playing with just the controller with wheel disconnected to see if you still had the same problem. That would eliminate the wheel as the source. I have played with controller and wheel on at the same time and they worked normally. Sorry to hear you having problems with it. Best thing I ever did was get a wheel. Also, I decreased the level of force feedback from the options menu. Helps me turn easier. Merry Christmas!

The buttons are assinable from options menu to, might want to check that.

Are you connected to the internet? When the servers are slow GT5 can freeze on menus. Then when you quit you hear the cursor move. Sign out of PSN and then try it.

It works! YOU BEAUTIFUL PERSON! Oh thank god for that, I was about to rip off my wheel, it was getting that fustrating. Thanks alot man, you might've just saved me from breaking my (rather expensive) christmas present :D

Is it because of christmas and alot of people are playing gt5, or is it because of 2.02, that the servers are slow?
