Hello, i opened my dfgt, because i want to plug handbrake to it. But it was little bit different than dfp so i dont know how to sold the wires.. :nervous:

So can anybody help me? :dopey: PICTURES ARE WELLCOME!

Woah there Nelly, before you go ripping your DFGT to bits (not that I'm questioning your technical abillities) but what gear shift method do you use? If you use the buttons on the back of the wheel as I do, then re-assign the shift stick on the right as pull for handbrake, I also set it to push for reverse rather than trying to press a button on the wheel and steer at the same time when reversing.
What ever you decide best of luck, just thought I might be able to save you some hassle.

btw, someone confirm if i'm right please:

correct? if that is i have to figure out a switch for a handbrake, a real one is just doing too much.

This graphics is developed via Japanese community and it described in Japanese. But you can see how you need to wire the button.

And ye I almost forgot. I'm using a videocaple (yellow), because it have 2 wires in it. So.. Does it matter wich one i use for GROUND?

Hi! I dont like to use the buttons behind the wheel, so i cant resign shfter for handbrake :(
But dont worry I dont gonna do this hole project myself. I'm doing this with couple of my friends, who have done this to DFP.

Although your advice wasn't applicable to the poster, It helped me greatly. I had totally forgotten that the shifter could be re-assigned. Thanks for saving me from my own brainfart!
