My DFGT wheel works great with GT5 when i first use it but after a short while of using it ( a couple of short races) the GT logo light on the centre of the wheel goes out and the buttons on the wheel stop working. If i disconnect the USB from the playstation for approximately half an hour and then reconnect it, the light is back on and everything works again. Has anybody had this problem or can give a suggestion as to whats wrong with it?

Thanks for the response.

I guess not many people are having this problem.

The cover is not what i would describe as being hot but never the less it could be an overheating problem with a component inside getting hot but the heat not really transferring to the outer cover.

When the logo light goes out, i lose all functionality of the buttons, but funnily, if i use the controller for the buttons, i still can use the wheel to drive with (with force feedback and all). I would guess that the Force Feedback motor would be the most likely item to heat up but my problem only appears to be a button issue and the light going out.

I was hoping others may have had a similar problem and had a simple fix (e.g. the wheel and controller conflicting due to a setting i may have incorrectly set up).

I will ask the retailer to change it for me just in case. Thanks again.
