So, I actually want to ease the use of the pedals for me. It's a bit odd for me since I'm having some problems with my ankles due to all the injuries that I suffered from ice-hockey and rugby. It's actually pretty hard for me to keep them straight for a longer period of time.

Cutting off something of the pedals might be the solution, so that the pedals are lower and I can simply leave my feet on the pedal clamp of my PlaySeat. Would that work? Is anything important in there? I've only opened them once and it didn't look like there's something important down there but only up where the pedals are. Any experience?

I think it would much easier for you if you just build a platform around them large enough so that just the top few inches of the pedals is all that is above top of the platform.
The plat form would need to be large enough so that you can rest your feet on the top, something like 3 feet x 3 feet.

A way to test this out is just get a cardboard box. Just cut a slot in the top so that the pedals can stick through it. Then cut the sides to set the height and then put the box over the pedals, put your feet on top of the box and press the pedals.

Thought about that, too - just keeping all options open. :D

Great first post btw. :p

There's a big chunk of metal under some plastic about half way down I believe, for weight maybe? You should see a square with screws on it, it's under there.
