DFGT to DS25?

I have a Driving Force GT and have been thinking of upgrading to a GS25.

In your opinion would it be worth it to do this, or is there not much difference between the 2 to upgrade?

you mean a g25? if you have the money, which i dont, i would consider waiting until the logitech g27 comes out so it becomes cheaper. i actually have a driving force gt and it is a very nice wheel, sometimes i do want a g25 but to me the difference is minor except for the clutch and 6 speed gearshifter. considering you already bought a gt for how much? £60-90? i dont think it is worth it personally.

I've just gone from DFGT to G25, i did get my G25 for UK£72, maybe find a 2nd hand one or at least something like the £99 that play.com was offering. The build difference is what you notice first, the G25 feels a lot sturdier, the wheel is nothing short of fantastic compared to the DFGT, only down side at the moment for myself is the pedals take some getting use too, the DFGT pedals are pretty flimsy and nice and soft making easy to feather the throttle/gas whereas the G25 are quite stiff and I'm still getting to grips with them, if you have a playseat or similar i would highly recommend getting the G25 especially if you can find a cheap one.

Sorry I did mean the G25, dont know where I got the GS25 at.

Yeah I do have a Evolution Playseat.

My main reason for wanting to go the G25 maybe G27 route is the padal shifters versus the button style on the back of the DFGT. The gated shifter seems nice too, just not sure I could get use to it. I still struggle with the shifter knob on the DFGT, might be its location too.

G25 wins! My friend has both wheels and we find the feel and build of the G25 superior to the DFGT.

But I wouldn't sweat it...both wheels are very very good!

Why not buy a Fanatec wheel which is supposed to be better. Ill be buying a Fanatec and use my G25 pedals.

If the Fanatec's were a little more readily available, that would definitely be an option. Until there actually in-stock, I am not shelling out $300 a couple months in advance of buying something.
