Am I the only person who just can't drive with a wheel or is it my wheel? I currently have a DFGT because I got it for free. Now my problem is I can't even come close to my DS3 set lap times with the DFGT. I've been using the wheel for about 3 weeks now and am getting frustrated lol. For instance, with a DS3 I have a best Nurburg time of 6:39 with my '02 NSX-R full tuned. With the same car and nothing changed using the DFGT the best time I have is a 6:47. I have been driving with it for 3 weeks and I feel pretty comfortable driving with it, I just know that so many people are posting up faster lap times with a wheel vs DS3, but not me. I have money waiting for the CSR Elite, but if I just am horrible with a wheel I don't want to waste my money.

Long winded but any advice? Buy new wheel?

Give it time. Most people are slower with a wheel at first but you will improve.

Don't forget the input from the DS3 when turning is a lot less than with a wheel. If you spin around with a DS3 and you let go of the steering it centers back, with a wheel you have to center it back yourself. Plus it is way more immersive, if you find that it is not for you than I wouldn't waste my money on another wheel.
