Hi everyone.I'm new to GT planet. So this will be my very first post.Is the DFGT any better than the DFPRO.I'm thinking, does the DFGT improve your driving. Is it more responsive and accurate?>I'm thinking of upgrading from the Pro,But don't want to spend the money on the G27 at this time.

I'm not sure there is much difference between DFP and DFGT in function, other than the buttons and such?

Cheers for the reply.I'll probably stick with the pro for a while. If I spend £120 on the g27 and thats used!!,my misses will laugh in my face!.£120 is about 220 US Dollars. This is rip off Britain!!.

Yeah the DFGT is the same as the DFPro, but with Horn and In game RA functions, which you could assign in the options with the DFPro anyway. It's not worth upgrading to the DFGT if you have a Pro. Go for the G27 or T500, or stick with the DFPro for the time being

Thanks for the reply lion-face.I will work on my misses until she breaks!!.Or I do.I will say this about the pro though. Its as tough as old boots. The way I keep yanking at it as I break too late again!!,it just keeps on truckin.

The DFGT and DFP are fundamentally the same thing, but there are some differences. The GT has slightly more precise, quieter and stronger FFB; plus the GT5-specific functions (RA) and a larger diameter wheel with a slightly better shape.

On the other hand, the DFP has the 200 degree lock and doesn't have the PS button to hit accidentally (which has happened to me many times). Overall, if you have a DFP, there isn't really any reason to upgrade to a DFGT. And that's coming from someone who did exactly that. It works better, technically, but not so much so that it will really make a difference to your driving.

Cheers Tornado. This is all good advice.I think i'll skip the DFGT.I'll try to pick up the g27 around xmas time.I'll withold sex,and my misses will soon see the light.Hang on a minute thats the wrong way round!!.
