Tried doing a quick search and didn't come up with anything. I recently purchased a ps3 and GT5P. I've had my DFP since the launch of GT4. I had the pedal problem (brake staying on) and had fixed that (working great now). Just wondering if the diameter of the DFP and the G25 are the same or is the g25 larger to simulate a more real size steering wheel? I love the DFP feed back is great and since discovering the use of N2 tires, i can drift and loving it(just need to build myself a sturdy stand for my wheel as it wobbles a bit and shifts when throwing the wheel around, thats this weekends project). The G25 is pretty much twice the price, besides the nicely wraped wheel, clutch pedal and the H-pattern shifter, is the quality/feel of the G25 that much better? And is the wheel any larger? just can't see why they would make an awesome game, a driving simulator and not make a more real-to-life sized steering wheel? thanks for any input.

I've only got the G25 but that is about 27.5cm across (diameter). Hope this helps.

I think the G25 is well worth the money if you can afford it. The quality of the wheel and pedals is excellent. The shifter is the weakest component (something has to be), a bit light in its feeling but is well made but more than compensates for this with the immersion factor. I think it's unlikely you'll be disappointed. This will probably start a debate about other wheels!

i just took a measurement of the DFP and it's 10" standard, 254mm or 25.4cm. I can afford the g25, but my DFP is working great, and i can think of REAL car parts i can put 250-300usd towards. i wish i could sample a g25 wheel to see what the force-feedback feels like if it's any better than the motors used in the DFP. :nervous: thanks for the reply's :)👍

[edit]-Does anyone know if the motors/gyro's in the g25 are QUIETER than the DFP? i dont mind it at all, but it definately makes itself known when i'm drifting with it.

I don't know all the tech specs about the g25 but I own both DFP and the G25 and the wheel is SOOOO much better! Not only is it much more quieter than the DFP, but it's so much smoother. If the car ever gets in any tricky situations, controlling the car is much easier because how smooth and fast the wheel is amd drifting becomes a breeze. As for force feedback, I'd say they are about the same, (The setting on my wheel is at 10) but I'll get back to you on that because I havent played my DFP in a while.

The DFP has a 10" (9.75" measured) diameter steering. Both the G25 and DFGT are 11" (10.75" measured).

damn i don't want to hear that. may become another charge to have to pay off...I have a question, can you clutch kick? feather the clutch like launching a real car? or is it an on/off thing for gear changing? the smoother feel of the wheel and quieter is a big plus, and the h-pattern shifter does seem sweet. :nervous:

I second that! I only played a G25 for one evening, but the difference to a DFP is obvious. If I had no wheel to date, I'd definitely save more money and buy the G25. 👍

i've actually gotten the itch to try the g25 since i'm getting a lot more involved with GT5p and the drifting (love drifting). But i cannot find ANYONE who has it available rite now, even back-ordered from Logitech themselves. I only found one place about an hour away from me, and i'm lazy...and they won't SHIP IT! when i find one, i will be getting a g25 and i'll post how i feel about it. :)👍
