Today while drifting, i broke my DFP. The wheel spins freely now, with NO force feedback or resistance. Im not sure whether the linkage snapped, or if it was an electrical malfunction. Thankfully, i got the 2 year warranty. My question is, when i contact logitech tomorrow, are they going to have me send back my broken DFP? Also, is this a common problem? Because i havent been cranking on it, and it just quit in the middle of a session. ( i checked all the cords to make sure they were all plugged in so thats not the problem. ) 👍 thanks

I don't have any answers, but I'd suggest searching. This is a thread topic that I see quite often. Don't limit the search to just the gt4 drift forum. There are quite a few DFP threads in the main gt4 forum as well.

Luck!

it all depends ...ive heard of some ppl who called logitech and they just send them a new one and they didnt even needed to send in their old one....

i bought mine from compUSA and got the 1 yr warranty....they said if it breaks just bring it in and they'll replaces it no questions asked...so i don't no...it varies i guess

Sorry tank. :dunce: I guess i shoulda searched a little more. I did look around the drifting forum, but i couldnt find anything. shoulda checked the GT4 forum. ill do that now. ( now that i've already taken up space for this thread..... sorry! :scared: )
