DFP & RFactor

Hi all,

I just got R-Factor and my DFP does not work like it should.
I messed around with the settings in the game but no matter what I do; it does not help.

Please help me so I can enjoy my new bought game.

The problems I've got so far:

* Force Feedback does not work at all ( selecting on and off, switching percentage of FF around didnt help either)
* ° 900 wheel turning does not work ( select +R3+ right paddle does not work too)
* It has only extremely low powered self-centering ability.
* No matter what I do the wheel feels extremely ''loose''

In one sentence: It feels like its dead.

Is there a way to get steering like or close to GT4? Is there any hope at all?

Thank you for the help, but I even fail at point 2, the logitech install profiler just keeps saying that I dont have any logitech hardware connected; but my wheel is connected with my computer and it works. - except FFB.

Anyone also having this problem?

I am so angry, I have the best racing game ever and one of the best driving wheels but I cannot get them together. :(

are your motherboard/usb drivers up to date?

I guess the are, my computer is roughly just a year old.

I am not sure if the problem is caused by different kinds of USB ports, are there any kinds of ports that cannot be used for the DFP?

And there is also the funny thing that my computer does not list the DFP if I plug it to my computer, maybe it doesnt think that the DFP is some kind of game controller?
