Did anything good come out of this patch?

What PD really needs to do is embrace it. I never hears of any duping in FM3, it has a in game marketplace to buy and sell car, set-ups and paint jobs, maybe that killed any motivation to dupe.

I know PD doesn't care what other games do, but if it works they could at least give it a closer look, put their distinctive flare on it, and put it in the game, so this is not an issue. Seems like common sense to me, although PD has been lacking in that area when it comes to GT5.:indiff:

I posted that to signify that people still won't play the game properly despite this patch. They'll just let two rubber bands play and grind to get money for them.

I really think this update was useless, even though I hate dupers and think they really ruin the game. They could have at very least attempted to notify us somehow before bringing in this huge update. Or they could have limited the trading to 15 million because the cars that were being duped the most were 15-20M range. I really got screwed because me and a couple of my friends have pretty much an open garage with eachother, we lent eachother cars all the time, and one of them had my X1 and another had my max tuned McLaren F1 with about 8 hours worth of fine tuning gone into the suspension, all gone now. And I will never get them back.👎👎👎👎

Imagine how all those people selling X1s on eBay for $30+ each, feel about 1.07 :dopey:
 
I just wish they would add more cars and do away with the whole permium/ standard cars crap aswell as enabling forced induction/ engine swaps/ rim mods on all cars and that one time color code use thing is BS, you should be able to pick what ever you like and use it as many times as you want and lastly Course Maker sucks sorry pls make it easier to use cooler and more real. i love this game out of this world but it needs alot more work to be awesome! i know im not the only one that thinks all this so pls fix the game! thank you

You realize tho that trading was a big part of making that trick working right ?

So maybe they didnt really made something against it but less people will have X2010 from now on so less people will be able to rubberband.

I dont say it's good or bad I dont care how you play the game honestly.

The only "trick" to getting the X2010 is to get to Level 35 B-spec. You don't even need rubberbands for that! Once you've got that car, 20,000,000 credits per day are yours for the taking.

No, it's a cheap trick to pull to get out of a LOT of grinding. You can leave it on overnight and make 5 or 6 million credits. Leave it on while you go to work and get 5 or 6 million more, or even more than that! Better still, your A-spec level is increasing all the while.
