Did you complete A-Spec and B-Spec simultaneously?

B-Spec has generally better car rewards, and rewards that can be useful in A-Spec thus allowing one to complete races without having to buy a better car or a new car just for that race.

So, I am doing a survey. Did you complete A and B Spec simultaneously?


I also have another question for you if you could answer in your comments. I am creating a power level guide that uses the least amount of money, time, and mostly prized cars that will be used for majority of races, and I think it will be the best guide out there.

With that said, should I incorporate B-Spec into my guide, or should I just provide a guide for A-Spec only?


I have started B-Spec, and I just play another game, study, or work on my guide, and you know, I really wish I would have completed A and B Spec simultaneously because with a fast car like the Mercedes CLK GTR Race Car, I am up to level 24 now in B-Spec, and I haven't had to pay attention to any of the races, except for Gran Turismo Championship, and it only required half my attention. Its easy money, and they give you better cars than A-Spec.

I completed A-Spec first since GT5 B-Spec mode is far too different from GT4's, thus making me confused.
 
i've been doing both at the same time, however I am now Level 35 A-Spec & Level 40 B-Spec. this is primarily as I was able to finish-off B-Spec whilst at work, due to the endurance races lending themselves quite well to this.

Note: No auto-grinding has been used on A-Spec, and the B-Spec was completed to level 40 before online B-Spec racing was introduced.

You should definately include B-Spec into your guide, as there are a number of prize cars (e.g. Mazda Furai), which make A-Spec easier. Conversely, A-Spec prizes also help B-Spec progression. This then infers that the quickest (and cheapest) way to level up on either is a mixture of the two modes.

For this example, the Mazda Furai, a level 6 B-Spec race, provides a prize-car capable of winning A-Spec Like the Wind (Lvl 21), and most B-Spec endurance races with the only exception of Nurbergring 24h.

Are you including the use of 'borrowed' cars, and online B-Spec racing in your guide? These both can also vastly increase the speed of level-up, especially once you reach level 25 B-Spec, and can leave 5 drivers permanently online, and use the remaining driver to complete the offline B-Spec events.
 
I finished most of B spec before getting involved in A spec (Professional and up).
I just figured I'd get the cars and money from B spec and then enjoy them in A spec after.
 
Started on A spec for the 1st few weeks, then got B spec up and running.

B spec is boring, but once you get the shorter races out of the way and get in to the endurance series you can run them at convenient times (ie; whilst sleeping/working/drinking/whatever)... and they are a good way to win cars and money :)
 
I honestly barely touched B-spec until I got an X2010 from the S. Vettel challenge. That's when I used that car to milk B-spec for money. No way am I going to waste time telling Bob how to race.
 
I'm currently at level 40 in both A and B-spec and have completed B-spec apart from obtaining that career trophy for one of my drivers (and almost completed A-spec apart from both 24 hour events, waiting for a save function...).
I first did try to progress through them somewhat simultaneously, mainly using B-spec when recharging my controller, with the incentive of specific prize cars to obtain but after reaching level 35 I left it for a while.
A while ago I decided to finally do those endurance races and left my PS3 running overnight and thankfully reached level 40 after a week or so, so I don't have to bother anymore with this boring pursuit.
And then I found out I have to more B-spec races if I want to obtain that career trophy......:grumpy:

No, im not including borrowed cars, online XP, nor online b-spec racing. Thats just to many factors to include.
