btwn 4-10 years of age I wanted to be a paleantologist and dig up dinosaurs and have a new one named by me,

btwn 11-13 a vet, fix doggie and kitties

btwn 13-18 a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic for Inco or Falconbridge ( large mining corps in the area )

Btwn 18-26 (current) Working in sales / marketing...and not sure what I want to be when I grow up! ( stay at home dad maybe ! )

Well I just did a research paper on how father's affect their children. I guess fathers that stay home with their kid, have kids that grow up to be better people all around. It was intresting to say the least. I guess a father has more of an impact on kids then the mother...which seems strange.

Thats due to fathers letting the kids get away with stuff, so by the time they are teenagers, they have no need to rebel...its outa the system...lol

Well, I did fear my father giving me a beat down more than my mom. I guess in the end I behave from more fear and just become acclimated to being good.

Really, I know a lot of mothers who will tell you the quickest way to get a kid to behave is to threaten to tell their father when he gets home.

I am a senior in high school now and am currently working on going to The University of Louisiana at Monroe for 2 years before either going to law school at Tulane or LSU. I was wondering if you really know the requirements for getting into law school, Gil. ( I do know that you pretty much have to have a 4.0 GPA in college, and right now i have been accepted to ULM majoring in Criminal Justice.)

At this point in my life, my oldest son is going to graduate from college in a year.
I'm way to old for the grind of Law school.
But in my youth (20+ years ago) I wanted to be a corporate lawyer.
I have a way with people, and finding common ground.
It would have stood me in good stead as a corporate lawyer.
It currently stands me in good stead as a nurse.

Maybe, but besides small projects I did for fun when I was back in school, I don't have much experience in that domain, so it's harder to get hired and I'd probably have to start at the bottom.
