Did you know?

I've honestly in all seriousness learned 2 things in this thread that made it worth reading. The A4 touring car thingy, and the controller RS mapping.

Fair enough :D

I'm pretty sure that I had it that way in GT5P and that I immediately set GT5 up that way (1.01?).
You're probably right then. lol jk. You ARE right.

Here's a good one. Did you know you can speed up the process of finally retrieving your car after you buy it? Once you purchase a car and the screen loads for the car to be shown driving up to you and makes you choose first if you want to get in the car with a no and yes. Before the screen shows up, repeatedly press Circle so the Option of getting in the car pops up sooner. Immediately when it does, repeatedly press X to click No (it takes a bit longer for you to get in the car if you click Yes). And then, the Paint Chip that the car is will show up, but that's why you're repeatedly pressing X still. By the time all said is done, the car that's driving up to you should still be in the motion and NOT stopped.

I hope that makes ENOUGH sense for you to figure out. This literally can save something like 7 seconds of agony.

Did you know that the Audi R8 premium model with aero mod removes the aero and places it to the side of the car both in garage view and phototravel?

A glitch that ruins pictures of this car...

Has something to do with its built in aero part I assume.

I wish I'd known that a few weeks ago when I was stocking my garage!

Did you know that if you RM a car you've already upgraded, all your previously purchased parts get dropped into your items list. Also, most annoyingly, racing mods don't come with racing tyres!!

Did you know when you are in your garage, if you press square, you can change view and layouts

HOld on.....

EDIT: wow, you're right! Damn, I've had this game since it came out, I thought for sure I knew all its features by now....:dunce:

I'm now noticing pressing square in the Used Car Lot also re-arranges the cars, although I'm not exactly sure how. They just wind up in a different order. EDIT 2: it re-arranges them by price, and then by "dealer acquisition"...which I'm guessing means in the order that they showed up.

anyway, my contribution: Did you know, if you are going along and press the break and accelerator together it makes the breaks light up red HOT! ?

Wow. Did not know this....

I remember this from GT4 and haven't really tested it in GT5, though anyone can easily do so. The BMW 1-series had two 'levels' of braking lights. If you just stepped lightly on the brakes you'd get 2 brake lights, but if you pressed heavily on them, 4 lights would come on. Of course, this is only noticeable in chase-cam or during replays.

Here's another one. I did not even know this in GT4!

I have driven both 1-series cars in GT5, guess I need to look at their brake lites again.
