The lexus happened to be some sort of "advertisements" for a food delivery mobile app where you could order from "all sort" of different restaurants and get it delivered home. I was surprised to see this new LC500, let alone being used for something like that.

Older Toyota Corolla. It's a miracle it didn't rust out as soon as it reached the Michigan border.

Ford Aspire. I've only seen like, three of these IRL and since they made this in South Korea it's considerably an exotic.

Few cars like the Sergio and SA Aperta are at a hotel so they still count. Same with most of the hypercars I saw the blue koenigsegg is from Tokyo same with the dark blue Huayra bc. McLarens were visiting Laguna Seca and were arriving as I was about to leave. And the cars where the SCG 003 were at a loading/unloading area. Rest are street spots.

He never said they were bad spots, just not good.

All the cars you posted (with the exception of the first) are not very 'good' car spots (i.e. Grand Marquis, the Camaros, Audi S4, etc.). If everyone took pictures of every Grand Marquis and late-model Camaro considering them 'good' spots, this thread would have at least ten more pages with nothing special.

💡 That's the word I'm looking for: Special.

The point of this thread is to post pictures of cars you deem 'special' and things 'you don't see everyday.' Unless an AstroVan is considered special by you, it doesn't really belong here.

I will add that I'm not trying to make you feel bad or chastising you. It is stated in the OP:

• Please, only list cars that are interesting in some way. We don't want to see anything run-of-the-mill listed. In the previous thread, people announced having seen a BMW 328i, or a Nissan 240SX. These sorts of cars are not interesting, unless there is something specific about the car itself that makes it unusual, like seeing a new model on/before launch day, or a particularly good custom job. Cars worth less than $20,000 US when new will struggle to qualify as "interesting".

Sorry man, but it's the truth. In this thread there are expectations that we need to live up to, and you haven't met them in that post. The Chevy pickup truck was an okay spot at best, but everything else in there are pretty common cars. And the conversion van and the Grand Marquis? Was that a joke?

Use my photo dump of spots that I posted last week. Notice how all those cars I spotted were either obscure sports cars, or exotics? It took me three months to find all them, not just one trip down the highway. Go out and search for those types of cars if you want something meaningful to post. By calling your post out, I'm not trying to discourage you from car spotting. In fact, you should feel encouraged to go out more and find better spots.

Imagine if every other member posted average cars, like you did. Would anyone even be interested in checking this thread?
