Didn't expect to have so many spots again so recently, but a spontaneous trip to Florida led to a lot of spots

Probably the last surviving Mercury Lynx

I never cease to get excited when I see that you've posted in this thread. You seem to find rare and obscure cars better than everyone else! The spotting must be extra good in Pennsylvania maybe.

Glad to hear that, because I wasn't sure if many people really cared half the time I posted. :P Also funny you say that because I'm always surprised by the stuff you seem to find, by the look of it you're in New Jersey? Seems like you find a lot of old Japanese stuff.

Spotting in PA is surprisingly decent, I see a lot of cars during the summer, maybe it's because I'm always out and about I'm not sure. But because I'm usually driving I don't always manage to get photos.

My friend in Yokohama sent me a couple of pics of cars he saw last Sunday on his walk home from church.

Wolseley Hornet with all the association and club badges because that's what car fans in Japan do. They join every single club.

Nissan Sunny pickup

And here's one from me, a Buick Skylark X-Car. It's so rare to see an X-Car still on the road, they were so poorly designed and constructed.

I saw this very nice Jeep Comanche in the Winco parking lot this morning.

My friend in Yokohama saw this Honda S800 coupe on his way home from church again. I'm thinking there must be a car club that meets nearby at the same time he goes to church.

Recent pictures I took:
My first picture of an Alfa Romeo Giulia in the wild, 2nd one I've seen in the wild though.

Interesting enough for me, a red Mercury Marauder, it's a less common color of this one.

Pontiac GTO 6.0 Coupe

On top of a diner, is this coupe. I don't know what it is though.

I think that's a Ford Thunderbird behind the fence. I'm guessing either a 1963 or 64 model, feel free to correct me.

The white S-Class is a S63 AMG.

and I'll end this post with a BMW M3.

M6 that probably has a aftermarket exhaust I saw some small flames when he slowed down and it did some nice crackles too

RTHLE55 Corvette in front of the e55 too.
I hate doing night pictures they always turn out blurry or you can’t see what it is.

Or some schmutz on the lens...

:P

Heh...I swear I hadn't seen this post prior to spotting a Comanche the following day.

(It wasn't my picture.)

It's a '49-51 Mercury on the roof of the diner, though it appears to be a mockup of a heavily modified example, and you're correct on the latter being a Thunderbird, and you might be correct about the year--it's a '61-3.

Since you're unfamiliar with the former, I highly recommend you look into the Hirohata Merc.

I don't think it's actually a car, but a mostly 2D fiberglass shell for diner owners to display and get your attention. It's supposed to look like a 1949-1951 Mercury Coupe, but the back side window is poorly drawn.

Thank ya both! :D

Completely missed @Populuxe Cowboy's post...probably due to the lack of quotation/pictures.

That's Bert's 50's Diner in Mechanicsville, MD (I did some investigating because I was curious how much car is actually up there) and there are lots of pictures floating around to verify that it is very much not simply two-dimensional--however it's apparent that there's quite a bit missing on the far side.

No pictures, but I have seen two opposite ends of the spectrum in the past two days: I've seen an immaculate Chevy Caprice Classic (was driven by an old man so that explains it) and on the other end, I've seen a Mitsubishi 3000GT that looked well worn and used, but that may have just been the fact that Manitoba winters are hell on cars and nobody cleans their cars in the winter months.

So I didn't went out today but my dad and my sister went out to Boston to go to the doctors. Later I got a text message from my sister. Seems like she did a bit of car sight seeing and spotted a tow truck carrying something really really interesting.

A Lamborghini Aventador SV. And what's even more interesting is not too long ago before my sister spotted this car, I saw a Lamborghini Diablo. Man what could possibly come next after this?

I apologise for not getting a picture (will try to next time I see thme) but I saw a BMW 1M yesterday out of my window, and I can confirm it because it was the same car I followed to school one day last year.

I've also seen a Nuerburgring Megane at the busiest intersection in my town but that was probably 18 months ago.
