Yet another HK Mercedes mystery unfolds...

Nah I'm wrong - here's a shot I took of one last summer:

The 'biturbo' badge is bigger than I had thought. Yours is definitely an SL65. Yours also has the characteristic mesh grille in front of the wheels. That's SL65 only.

Yeah. EVOs, WRXs, etc. aren't uncommon here at all.

Sorry Cheyne, did I just wreck that for you?... :D

No, you're good. I only posted it because last time there was a Yellow Evo V in the back of one of my photos and Rue said that it was his favourite Evo.

Lightning Yellow Mitsubishi Evolution V (coincidentally next to its big brother E84 Galant VR-4)
one of the best colours for it ;) not that im biased or anything

did see a quattroporte taking up 2 space on george square last night  wonder if he paid for both.

Honestly, I liked the Issel Blue Pearl paint which came on the VI :sly:

Give me a Scotia white one and I'll be your best friend!

Aston V8 Vantage sneaking out of my village this afternoon...

And just how many on this planet do you think actually own & drive a Safety Car on the roadways?

ive seen a few,its known as that because it had the bodykit of the F1 safety car at the time.

Hmmm, interesting. Well, here's the original. Sorry I couldn't get a better shot.

it looks like the safety car,if you look at dougs pic the side bumper vent is black, whereas on the 55 is a "slit" and not a gap as such which is what it seems to be on the one you took a picture of.

I want that car. Best. Merc. Ever.

Guys, that's Dandelion Yellow not Lightning Yellow. And Scotia White has nothing on Dandelion Yellow. :p

You know im pretty sure you can have that bumper as an option out of the factory for the SL55, i snapped a few (blurry) pics of one a while back which has the same bumper as Rues spot.

here.

So im gonna go and say, real SL65 has big fully meshed grille, faker has a cut out half meshed grille!

Not the first i've seen, but the first ive pictured

The Aston-like rear on the Jag is pretty well designed, but those headlights DO NOT belong on a Jaguar.
Even if they were pretty (they're far from it), they wouldn't belong there...

But great spot on the car nevertheless. 👍

PS: that guy needs to be a better judge of his car's size; the rear right tyre is 'misplaced'...

Thanks.:)

Normally I wouldn't post a pic of a Corvette post 1982 but this one has to be. The exhaust was so loud it was just cool. Not to mention I really like the black rims.

Yesterday:

Awesome spot on the BMW, Doug.
Do you have the original (big)? I'd really appreciate it.

How many L6s is that Doug?

Two. This is the first:

At the time I wasn't into taking car photos. That photo was taken back in late Spring 2005. So it's been a while.

I'll have it up later tonight, definitely.

Hope this works:

Flash went off and kind of wrecked quality but it's big!

Cool, thanks!
Don't worry about the quality, I'll photoshop it a bit and it'll be just fine. 👍

Don't know about "Good" as such, but I saw something unusual this morning - a 1997 Toyota Prius, which I didn't know existed... exactly the same as this one...
