190E (How rare is this car and what makes it so special?)
2ndbestdayever023.jpg

There's nothing special about a 190E, but you've spotted a 190E 2.3 16, which is notable. It was pretty much the sportiest midsize MB at the time, considered an attempt to thwart BMW's success with their e30 M3. Not amazingly rare, but a 2.3 16 is worth posting here (not to mention its older siblings with Evo blood, which would be some of the best material in several dozen pages).

Now the car show pics:
Old/new 95 Camaro made to look like a late 60's one (there were 3 of these):

If Doug hated those retro C5/C1s, he'll definitely hate this.

Even though it looks odd, I do have to applaud the cleanliness of the project!

They're nice cars, especially when they've been kept standard like the one in the photo. Also well known for the Cosworth influence, as they helped develop the engine. There's a good episode of Wheeler Dealers where they buy, repair and sell a 190 Cosworth.

I saw an E92 M3 the other day. Second time I've seen the car. (Remember, I live in a town of 4K, so things like that are rare around here.) The driver looked like a typical M3 owner.

I need to stop posting here before I get some photo proof.

Some old Rolls Royce, I have no idea which one though

busy day today!

'tis a Morgan, not a Jaguar. Which model of Morgan is a bit hard to tell, because they all look the same to me.
looks like a plus eight due to the wheels, also:

looks like an XK 140 to me, two piece windshield (as far as I can tell)

Went down to a local Monday Night meet. Mostly imports, but the highlights were 3 Vipers, a Z06, F430 Spider, & a stunning matte black GT-R. I swear, every guy lost it when they saw it.

However, everyone trying to see what matte black feels like probably didn't sit well with the owner.

Apparantly not only is there a McLaren F1 and Reventon in HK regularly out on the roads there is also now a Veyron Pur Sang doing the rounds. Time to hang around random overpasses again methinks!

Nice old 911S.

Gallardo Spyder + Coupe.

But then this happened...

I happened to also get a few videos of the Gallardo's revving, thanks to the owner. :)

White pearl V8V.

But wait, what's that next to it?

LP640, and if you look closely, something probably rarer here behind.

Gallardo + LP640 + Diablo + LP560 + Miura (if you look closely enough).

And another Gallardo to top the list off.

Missed a Maserati GranTurismo S, another Lambo Gallardo Spyder, an R8, and a few M3s. :)

Not today but last weekend accidentally found a 'classic' car display at an amusement park in Japan.

Tsukuba Trueno: that DBR9 you said you saw is actually in the shape of a V8V. What its technical name is I'm not sure.

Probably for better storage ability.
I was going to ask how you knew that, then I saw the massive camber.

Gallardo Spyder + Coupe.

Funny, I noticed the Ute first. I've got problems, seriously.

Good news! The weather is getting (somewhat) warmer here, which means nice cars are beginning to roll out on the streets. Corvettes and Miatas are emerging on a daily basis, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that hanging out here in EGR will net me a few good spots sooner than later.

Maybe.

Haha yeah, seeing so many Beetles like that with missing engines helped me figure that one. Course it seems like they would stick a bit of weight in back to help it settle and not look so funky.

While on vacation in Rome I saw my first Smart Roadster. I also saw three Ferrari's, a white F430, A black F360 Spyder, and A Red F430 in front of the Flavian Amphitheater. I only had my Camera for the Smart Roadster.

It's the Drayson-Barwell Racing V8 Vantage GT2
