Thanks,
No they're not very common here, there just about 12 of these microbuses in Mumbai!, two of them pre-'67 "Split-Screen" models and the rest Bay-windows like ours.

Welcome to the thread. Great to have someone from another part of the world on board. Great first pics!

During a 250 mile drive home from the in-laws today I saw these two cars drive past me. Apologies for the poor picture quality (they were taken on my ancient cell phone).

This took me way too long to prep all the pics.

what in heck is that cubic thing under the Vette (BTW, a Vette in HK, yay)??

Also, nice grey STI with carbon bonnet and white EVO, and of course, THE DAYTONA!!!

Oh that's so nice. I love the SLR, but still haven't seen one yet. I wish I was going somewhere like California or Florida, but no. Just here in Michigan, atleast it's getting warmer.

I did see this just now though :dopey:. Chinook that flys over every couple weeks. I bet those Ferraris sound good, but they have nothin' over this, well to me atleast. The Huey still has the best noise ever though.

Right hand drive Corvette? Wow.

Not really that special... there's a RHD C5 Corvette that sometime parks in the morning about 300m from my place. Didn't think it'd get a 'wow' in the thread...

Also my dentist converted a Third Gen SRT-10 Viper to RHD. I've had a ride in it ;) I believe at the time it was the first of it's kind in the world. The person who did the conversion did molds and tried selling kits... dunno how well he did, but he did a good job!

I could only wish to see an SLR or Countach again, never actually spotted one in HK personally. The Chinook is so cool!

You saw a red Countach is SPS that time ;) I saw an SLR in Causeway Bay, but it was on a trailer as I believe they're all left-hookers. If they were RHD I expect we'd see plenty. On topic, today I saw the SLR's little brother the older SL65 AMG which funnily enough I don't think I have ever seen here before.

Yea thats true, almost forgot about it. Was it ever available as a right hand drive? I'd like to see one on the road here.

SLR only RHD, so you'll only see one on T-Plates here. Countach was available in both. btw, check your PM.

These from yesterday AM. Getting my fill of nice cars before I go back to the UK for two weeks:

I really want a Daihatsu Mira Gino.

The first really nice day we've had in a long time brought out absolutely nothing in the exotic factor. However it did bring out some unusual cars and on really large truck. And sorry for the craptastic pictures, they are from my iPhone as my point and shoot decided that it didn't feel like working today.

Now taxis in my area are like unicorns (fairly mythical) and so are hybrids (this is Detroit afterall) so a hybrid taxi is something that is almost unheard of. This was especially strange since I was more then 20 miles from any real downtown area.

And as you can see I was not in the Cooper but rather rocking a hardcore 2001 Honda Odyssey minivan which is sort of the store's work vehicle.

Come to Ann Arbor, I see atleast one Prius cab a day when I'm at school, but ours are yellow :dopey:. I still laugh everytime I see one. Just shows how green(I'm so cool) Ann Arbor is.

Spotted a Raptor today. Snapped a pic but he was so far ahead I dunno if it's even worth posting. I couldn't really see anything.

Link as it's not really worth posting.

Just spotted a Ford GT. Terrible picture. I wish I would have stopped and got out to get a better pic of the wheels. I'd put it in the questionable thread if I did. I doubt they cost more than 150 a piece and were no more than 10 inches wide. I kid you not. The tires were probably 285s and looked to be an all season sport tire. The tire tread was not aggressive enough to be Z rated.

Upon further inspection I have decided it's a fake. Oh well.

Hard to tell, but I'm sure even as a replica, it's a worthy spot. The wheels don't look cheap either as they do appear on a few replicas.

Lovely jubbly! I have often day-dreamed about purchasing a GT40 replica at some point in the future but I'm not sure how realistic they are to live with and maintain.
