Yeah we pigged out there today! Pizza, seaweed, tomato and mozarella salad, chicken wings, clams, chips and two GIANT Asahis... HK$140! So good!

I've a soft spot for TR7s but they were always pretty bad cars, just a 1600 if memory serves, and spare parts bin jigsaws (though that never hurt Lotus and TVR)

The TR8 was a little more special, more muscular looking and packed the very dependable Rover 3500 V8 engine. Much rarer, but was fairly easy to upgrade the TR7 to '8 spec. Check out Youtube for TR7s with all kinds of other blocks too.

Many of us have the issue with the Lady, friends or just random people.
They think we are weird looking at cars this much, taking pictures of the car of other people.

"The hard core thread members clubs" gathers people that understand that it is not weird, it is a normal, it's a hobby.

In my case, having been doing this for more than a decade, my girl takes pictures for me already and also keeps an eye for cars on the street. She has turned into a good hunter herself. Hardcore car-spottin' indeed 👍

^ Snap! Mine doesn't mind at all. Although last time I took her I think she got a little worried when I started hopping around after seeing a Boxer, LF-A, 90's Vantage, McLaren MP4-12C and Daytona Spyder in the space of twenty mins. I think she must be a lucky charm!

General shape says MG TD to me. Detailing and the fact it appears to be glassfibre suggests replica/kit car.

I thought my wife to yell "camera" in the car, since she looks too long for the brand and gets it wrong most of the time anyway.
But generally she refuses that I stop or she walks away when we are walking.

But she accepts next year for my birthday we are going car spotting in Monaco.
