Parked next to this M3, not so sure about the color. I'd rather have a black one, purple never really appealed to me.

After leaving the grocery store, I proceeded to see both cars again less than 20 minutes later, this time on the road. Porsche driver was taking it easy, M3 driver was a little more spirited with the gas pedal.

I don't understand why the owner of a 599 GTO would be funny about you photographing an Italian work of art. Perhaps he stole it, and doesn't want the plates on the Internet. When I photograph cars with the owners about, they are usually more than happy to make some noise or show me inside.

Seriously, if someone doesn't like people taking pictures of cars and drives about in a car such as this magnificent 599 GTO, I know a very good doctor here in Warsaw's centre.

I was recently shooting a white GT-R, you probably know the story. From then on, I'm VERY DAMN careful not to take more than 2-3 pics so that I'm not thought to be a criminal from 10th ring of Hell willing to steal, vomit and bleed all over a supercar.

I was driving home from a birthday party when I spotted this thing driving in front of me, it sounds absolutely amazing!!

I'm sorry that my shot is kinda blurry as this was taken with my iPhone and I really didnt have that much time to pull out and select camera mode :guilty:

Damn you Rue, all your photos are unbelievably beautiful. I presume you edit them, but such beauty can't be done by edits alone :drool:
 
Just a heads up (and I used to be as guilty of this myself) can people stick to the OP and only post claims of sightings backed up with pics? Seem to be a lot more "I saw this this and this but I don't have pics" posts lately, not doubting the sightings but we all see cool cars and can't get pics, it sorta dilutes this awesome thread though.

Discussion of other posts and geographical location, sighting opportunities is all good though :)

Last few pages just stunning by the way, thanks to all who posted pics!

  • Don't just state the name of the car. Give us a picture at least - even if it's a crap one from a camera phone. If you can't show us the car, how can we believe that you saw it? And don't just replicate an image from Supercars.net or the vendor's web site: we want to see THE car that you saw.

I didn't even know they sold RS Audi models in the US. I've never seen one back in the States where I lived. I remember checking the site one time and couldn't find them either. Maybe they don't sell them in my zip code area?
 
Yup, you can get an Audi RS in the States but it's going to set you back at least $60,000, which isn't exactly reasonably priced. Looks cool though.

They must not advertise it on their website then. Because I still don't get an option to see any RS models on Audi USA site.
