I think that if he'd post all the Conti's he sees, this post would be littered with them. They're ultra-popular here too, and I don't bat an eye at them.

Same goes for Warsaw's centre. There are loads of them here, I see at least 2 Continentals every day.

I was on my way home when I drove right past this Ferrari 328 GTS parked by a violin shop. Needless to say, I was never so desperate to make a U-turn in my whole life.

well, almost, but that's what I hear in my head every time I see a 308/328 GTS...

How come it has no plates?

nice old Trans Am

You know, there are several clones of these, and judging by how the rollbar is afixed to this one, I'd almost be sure that it's just a regular 69 Firebird with Trans Am stuff put on.

Because if it was a real, factory 1969 Pontiac Trans Am convertible, you would have spotted one of 8 made, about half a million bucks of muscle car. Unlikely as it is, though, very very cool car. Rest of the post isn't bad either!

Right side, brand new Continental :sly:

That's a bingo! I haven't photographed a Continental GT or Flying Spur in ages. They're just so common here. Every wife and girlfriend drives one. The new updated Continental GT's got my attention for a little bit, but I've since moved on. The only time you'll ever see one from me is if one manages to sneak into a shot of something more interesting, which happens often.

Thanks RocZX and Cano for the additional information! I'll have to go back and ask around about the Trans Am now, 1/8 would be the rarest thing I've seen, but as you say, highly unlikely.

Did see a couple interesting things today again.

I've now seen 2 of 1437 imported to US! (I generally figure my spotting territory is something like 1 part in 500 to 1000 of the total us car population...)

and, am I right in thinking this is rather uncommon in the US? I don't recall ever seeing one before...

Dodge?

with Memorial Day weekend approaching, the classic cars are coming out of the woodwork in preparation for all the parades and car shows that will be happening everywhere in a few days.

I really wish BMW would have made more 1M's. Jeremy Clarkson said it was an amazing car. I think it looks really good, good balance of elegance and aggression. Maybe BMW should make more cars out of spare parts :dopey:

GMC Syclone, I absolutely love these trucks!

Morgan! I was really surprised to see one on the road.

Audi R8 Spyder, it's a scavenger hunt reject.

Viper with an ACR wing, probably an ACR though since it was like a mile from the Chrysler HQ and there's always creations driving around.

Welp, the Gumball 3000 is today, and I just so happen to be near Route 17, which comes out of NYC, so hopefully I'll have some cars to post up later today.
They're all going through PA :|

Lucky, I wish they were coming through Central PA. Would have been nice to go to NYC to see them leave today. Hope you get to see them.:)

Woww!!!

Is that Honda powered?

There was also another long-time GTP member with a Cooper, the name excapes me at the moment. And is that D110 (?) yours too?

^ If its Honda-powered, it would be very epic!

-> Any Minitec Mini's are as cool as Steve McQueen. :sly:

No, Hanging off the end of a Dellorto 45 is a 1275 bored out to 1400 and a Metro Turbo gearbox  It's all harder better faster stronger in there, the receipt folder is not light reading. It's pretty well together :) And to top it off it's pre 73 tax free :D
Next to it is my dads 56 Series 1 Land Rover.

That is epic! Mind sharing how much it cost, or even a ballpark figure?

Here's a first for me, and I'm guessing this is exceeding rare in the US, at least in Ohio.

Maserati Spyder '89 (I think)
