I know it's not a Ferrari but I think it is enough of a rarity/interesting car to warrant a mention.

My dad writes for a classic car magazine and today he went to do an article on this old Austin Sheerline so I tagged along for the experience and took a few photos. Most were crap but I think this one's OK.
A lovely, stately old car, so big and elegant. It's a funny feeling to look down on Holden Commodore drivers and see their small car beneath you :D

I also saw a E55 AMG Merc and a 996 Carrera 4.
 
Another 150 mile triip to northampton saturday until today means lots of sightings, but few pictures :( (pictures at bottom of post)

2x Continental GT (1 might have been a flying spur, only saw the back of it.)
2x Lotus Elan (strange i havent seen any for a year or so.)
1x Old shape Audi S4 (was putting my four-banger to shame!)
3x Lotus Elise (1 red was flooring it :drool: nice noise!)
1x Brand new S6 (unless it was just an S-line A6, it was about 20m away)
1x Ferrari 360 (opposite side fo the road)
1x 70's Porsche Carrera (went past while i was on the phone in a layby)
3x Chrysler 300c Hemi (first time seeing one,1 black, 2 silver, parked up after someone nudged me at a stop light and managed to get a picture of a parked one)
1x Morgan convertable (could have been a plus 8, but i dont know, so just a morgan)
1x Jaguar MKII (2nd time ive seen this one, seems local to Daventry)
1x Mercedes 250 (?) (I was in a hurry so i took 1 picture from my camera phone, before i left for the midlands.)
1x Corvette C5 (the owner looked like the type to moan if you took a picture, so i got my camera phone out rather than my digi cam)
1x Rolls Royce Phantom (?) (the new one with the stationary wheel centre caps, 1 of them was spinning :lol:, such a huge car! The bonnet was about my head height when i was driving next to it!:scared:)
1x Mercedes SL65 AMG :drool: (first on road sighting, looks better than SL55)
2x CLS500 (starting to like this car although it is getting a bit common now)

Before i saw that one on the road i hadnt even seen any pictures or anything concerning the new civic, ok so at the time i didnt really care, but when i found out what it looked like i found it quite striking, certainly very different from most cars on the roads today.
 
Right outside my my street there was a black Porsche Carrera with full rollcage installed and everything. It looked brand new.
 
well guys, my dad and i saw a ruf turbo r on the highway the other day.:sly:

Wow, you've seen lotus elises and stuff, and this is the first time you were close to a PT Cruiser.....very wierd, I see them every day, and I've only seen 2 elises so far.
 
I thought Q wasn't liscenced reg number?

I saw a C6 convertible. It was kind of outside the dealer... But it was nearer the Land Rover dealer really :D

And I saw my first Caymen, and it was an S aswell I think.
 
Oh I saw some great cars on way to movie theater....

I was walking past the line of estate agents today and there were the normal mercs and beemers parked outside when i saw a fine black arse. On investigation i saw my first Vanquish S. I didnt think to take a picture and the owner was standing nearby. Ill see if i can get a pic next time its parked there.
 
I saw the new Jaguar




I don't know why but I very often see sick cars at this parking lot like this Gallardo a few days ago. I think from now on I will post everytime I can get a picture of a nice car at this parking lot hehe.

 
The good weather must be calling out the nice cars. Saw a new model Mustang cruising fairly slowly on the opposite side of the motorway. Certainly a big looking car, shame I couldn't tell if it was V6 or V8 :banghead:
 
You'll never guess what I saw earlier! A Mini Cooper, converted into a pickup, with a giant red bull can on the back!, I got some pics on my dad's phone, but I don't know how to upload them
 
Today I saw a Lotus Exige! It was black. :sly:

It only passed by for a second, so I have no pictures. But I don't have a cameraphone so it wouldn't have mattered.

I've seen one of those. It was in Boston the other week, there must be more than one.
 
Driving back from a local airport after a presentation by (one of) the pilot of SpaceShipOne, Brian Binnie. I saw two great black cars.

1. Ferrari Testarossa
2. Bentley Flying Spur

Ferrari's are certainly more rare around here, as they are everywhere else. But it seems like Bentleys are more of an everyday sighting as of late. It's really getting to be odd . . .
