Would spots from the car park of a race event count here? They technically have no association with the event and belong to regular people.

But the reason they're there is because of that event...?

Some more cars from my American holiday

Camaro - 01 by commodoreben, on Flickr
A Camaro where it shouldnt be. Off roading in Monument Valley.

Camaro - 02 by commodoreben, on Flickr
I can't remember what city exactly this Camaro was in but I think it was Dallas

Camaro - 03 by commodoreben, on Flickr

Camaro - 04 by commodoreben, on Flickr
This Camaro was in the little car show near my hotel in Orlando.

Cayenne Camera - 01 (1) by commodoreben, on Flickr

Cayenne Camera - 02 by commodoreben, on Flickr
A Porsche Cayenne camera car in New York filming a movie about a bike courier. I froget the name of the movie or who was staring in it but I did see him riding the bike and when they reset for another take the star got into a car to drive back to the starting point that was about 300m away while a crew member rode the bike back.

Lamborghini Murcielago - 01 by commodoreben, on Flickr
A Lamborghini Murchielago spotted in Miami on a rainy day.

That would be when I started posting abandoned cars and such stuff. With time, though, it goes trough.

Look Diogo, if you took a pic of it, it is because you found it interesting, but you have to tell us why. People here have posted pics of a Peugeot in the US, whicch is rare because the car is not available over there. Similarly, I posted a pic of a Celica the other day because there are no Celicas here. Well tell us why you found the car interesting.

On an aditional note, I would kick the bar up a bit.

I updated my post , sorry to all :guilty:.

I took the picture to the Suzuki because it was the 1st time ever I had seen a pink car with big wheels from Great Britain , soo it's 9uite rare.
The while car which you can only see the rear , I posted for fun because it's a model you never saw , a Suzuki Type R GT-R Super.
But what I was amaised the most was that prelude , the Preludes are very rare here , and one of that year !? Much more rare than a supercar . Never had seen one.

Soo that's why I put the pictures.

Instagram can go to Flickr?

850 T-5R. Nom. by E_Delaney, on Flickr

one of 136 or something ridiculously small to the US! awesome catch!

Oh, and Diogo G, Cappucino's are always awesome outside of Japan, and they're still great there. I've posted many an exceptionally uncommon (to me) old Japanese car, usually from a model line that was or would become significant. Supras, Preludes, Civics, Celicas, Z Cars, RX-7's, etc. I even posted a Yugo once, because it was mint and I haven't seen one in a decade because they all fell apart long ago, except this one.

So, for me anyways, I don't mind cars that aren't Ferrari's, McLarens, etc. Well, obviously, the rather anemic by today's standards 850 T-5R got an "awesome catch" response... Just let me know what I'm looking at and why it's interesting to you (in 10 words or less, usually,) and you can be sure I'll appreciate your photos.

But, what's the black car you posted?

.

I think the "Questionable Modifications" thread would also enjoy your pink Suzuki and Type R GT-R Super Duper Turb, too :)

Alright let's get this show back on the road!

The last vehicle you expect to see in an unremarkable Danish suburb: a 1992 GMC Typhoon.

Looking at the registration info, this one hasn't stretched its legs in a good five years. What a shame.

I just seen a maloo, but couldn't get a picture as I was driving at the time, there pretty rare, as I have never seen one before.

Is the house near it's at abandoned too, Mark II Blit? If no one really "owns" it, you should definitely buy it. :p

FYI , that Volvo that Skyline posted aren't very rare here :dopey:

And I shouldn't had posted the black car because it was a X5 I think with enormous wheels  Soo I wasn't aiming for the wheels sorry :indiff:

Just saw a Z4 and some type of Seat-VW UP ...

It would make a sweet double deal, but by all the junk scattered around the house, my guess is that the owner is working on fixing it up :grumpy:

The GMC could also use some serious attention.

Y'know. This whole "No! That isn't a good car. Not rare in Japan! Even if you are in the uk!" thing is stupid. It all depends on location.

P.s I was paraphrasing.

Lamborghini Gallardo

MR2, I don't care for them but I know a lot of people here do so...

My mom sent me this picture. It looks sort of like an Aston but if someone can confirm it that'd be great.

Old Dodge

Lotus (Exige?)

Another one my mom sent (Viper)

Something?

And I know I'm not supposed to do this, but while driving to Dale Hallow, I seen a Rolls-Royce Ghost exactly like the one pictured. In the excitement of seeing my first Rolls in the "wild" and with it on the other side of the interstate I couldn't get a picture.

And also south of Louisville, I saw my tenth DeLorean, my second one in the wild.

Edit: CTS-V sedan

Old drag racers

Some type of special Mustang. I've seen another one here in Indy and I don't know what it is. Its been 4 weeks since I saw it and I don't remember what was on it.

Bad pic I know, but old (Chevy?) truck.

Beetle!!!! Along with a neat old tractor.

Ford Pinto

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think its a Z06 Z07 (i think that's what they're called)

Something old with a huge (very) loud (very) V8. This is around where I saw the DeLorean.

good post, King Josh! not surprisingly, Indy isn't too different from Cleveland. Hard to find em, but the Gallardos and Exiges are out there, with lots of nice classics and modern American performance cars in between.

found a 454 cruising the highway yesterday, to complement by other Chevelles from the day before

is this what they call stanced?

cls550, old and new

another SW20?!? Is this the same car I saw at Ray's Auto? Hard to tell but I'm leaning no.

1963 or 1964 Impala... SS?

hmmm...

Loving the M1

It's actually named the 1M, so people don't get confused with the late 1970s BMW Supercar. But I'm guessing you knew this.

Awesome.

EDIT:

I also saw a BMW 1M Coupe today. Only decent picture (my girlfriend took the pictures as I was driving).

I've never got the hang of posting pictures from my phone on GTP via Flickr; advice anyone?

Your picture not working

Thank you for that jeff! :)

I understand double clicking the picture should work, as that's how some users have viewed a few other pictures I posted up on GTP a while ago.

But it's nice to see my picture in the actual thread!

jeffgoddin
yeah, he just copied the web address for the page which shows the photo, not the "share" tab link for HTML/BBcode.

How do you do this using the GTP app? Is there a way? Or do I need to log in to my PC/laptop?
Also regarding the HTML/BBcode: where do you get this? I copied the HTML and linked it using the IMG but I guess that didn't work.
I would really appreciate help with this. 👍
