Well, at least you didn't say "wow, what kind of Ferrari is that?" It could be worse, I'm sure he still thought that you were pretty knowledgeable.

Yeah ok. Lol. I didn't really speak to him much, I was only there for about 30 seconds. Just enough time to grab a couple of shots and scarper, he seemed a little upset.

That was actually my first thought when spotting my first Lamborghini in the wild. Never thought I'd actually see one here

Been seeing a lot of nicer cars out & about lately while at lunch, so decided to try and start getting some shots. Today was just a B7 & R8.

Buick Reatta.

Kind of neat. It was handmade, had a cool instrument cluster, and only 1,214 were made that year.

The Reatta seems to be something of a classic, at least to some people. Like, guys in the 50-65 year age bracket. Usually with personalized license plates.

I think the most it's got going for it is that it's rare and handmade. I suspect most people would think its just some old crappy Buick, which I'm not saying it is or isn't, but it's somewhat special.

Ford Mustang
Yes I know, I should have better shots, but in that moment I was in a hurry

I almost took a pic of one myself the other night, though 350/70Z's are fairly common here. For two reasons: they're beautiful, and it was parked straight in from of my bedroom window! And it was misty with streetlights, might have even been a good shot.

But I didn't, so disregard this post...

VW Kubelwagen I think. So cool!

You (and the spotter and me and everyone else in this thread) wish! If it was a Kübel in the street, it would be one of the rarest, most extraordinary spots ever posted in this thread. The Kübel was the german version of the Jeep and is now an extremely extremely rare car, with few having survived the war. The car is, as Josh correctly pointed out, a VW Thing, or if you want to be technical, a Type 181. Made in Mexico btw.

[*]Don't just state the name of the car. Give us a picture at least - even if it's a crap one from a camera phone. If you can't show us the car, how can we believe that you saw it? And don't just replicate an image from Supercars.net or the vendor's web site: we want to see THE car that you saw.

Saw a V12 Vantage for the second time. Then a Porsche Carrera S drove past when I was waiting for the bus. I got a picture of the latter.
