So, recently I was lucky enough to go to Osaka for a vacation with my family, I drove around Osaka and Kyoto in a rental car so I missed a few interesting cars while on the road. Nevertheless, here's what I did manage: (In order of shooting)
Toyota Prius, while walking around the hotel. Very cool.
Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R, first GT-R sighting.
Toyota GT86 At the hotel parking lot
Subaru Impreza STi, Ford Mustang Convertible, Honda CR-Z
Suzuki Jimny, with awesome ground clearance
Honda Integra , in a hole in the wall
Nissan R32 GT-R, spotted near a beautiful shrine, with white TE37s, obligatory
Nissan R35 GT-R, so I've seen the R32, R33 and R35, I wonder if I'll get to see a R34 GT-R here...
Nissan Silvia S15, back at the hotel parking lot
Nissan Fairlady Z34, drove past me as we came out of a teppanyaki restaurant
Nissan Silvia S13, spotted while strolling around Osaka city centre. The reflection of the paint job is stunning, the owner really kept this car in shape. I've spotted an S15 and S13 now, where's the S14?
Toyota Crown GRS180 Police Car, while hunting for more cars, this thing was tucked away on a side street. The officer didn't seem to care that I was taking pictures of him.
1963 Chevrolet Impala, someone please help identify this. Spotted in "American Village". Yep, the "American" culture here is a really interesting interpretation.
Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R, Spotted the next day outside the "Deer park", where you get to see and feed deers that roam about freely.
Unknown mini truck, these things are everywhere, they are the bread and butter of Japanese goods transportation.
Peugeot 106 S16, anything European is a rare sighting, and an old Peug is particularly interesting choice.
Unknown Kei car, like the truck, these were also very popular for delivery purposes.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, I did miss an Evolution V
Unknown Kei car, quirky.
New
Subaru Impreza, interesting styling, I want to see what Subaru will do in the WRX Sti model
Nissan Silvia S14, great, spotted all 3 of the latest Silvia(s). The rear bumper was literally hanging on with duck-tape and cable ties
Lexus GS350, without much luck, back to the hotel
On the last day, 1 more shopping trip for a new pair of headphones brought me to this parking lot, and as I said, I was on the look out for an R34. Well, this is WAAAAY better.
Nissan Skyline KPGC10 GT-R
This concludes my spots during my vacation, I really wish I had more time on foot to roam the streets, but I'm quite satisfied with what I saw. Till next time.
