Missed a C7, what may have been a turbo 911, and a Ferrari 360 spyder (pretty sure it was a 360), but I got something better.

1947 Ford Hot rod. The owner pulled into the bank we were at. I rolled the window down, and told him I liked his car, and asked him to tell me what he'd done to it.

Cammed 239, with a bunch of edelbrock parts (can't remember exactly which ones he said), dynatech exhaust with electric cutouts, and some interior work. He hit the cutouts for me and let it idle (was awesome), we talked a bit, and then I asked him if I could take a picture, he said sure.

my first SS! And as I pulled up alongside at the next red light I couldn't help but to gesture and point to let the guys inside it know how excited I was. The driver rewarded me by holding the brakes and giving it some gas, smoking the tires in the process, very cool! And he was glad I knew what he had, holled down the window and chatted for a moment, he said I made his day!

I bumped into two new Jaguars while boarding the ferry this morning. The one in front is due in 2016, and parked behind it is an XE. They're on their way to France for tyre testing.
