Yeah the XJ-S is really aging well, no wonder it was in production for so long. It has a hard time being the successor to the E-Type, no car could’ve filled in those footsteps, but I think it’s coming back and getting the recognition it deserves. As a classic Jaguar and the last car Malcolm Sayer was involved in, i guess it will be a good future investment, maybe it will go a similar way as the E-Type and prices go up overnight.View attachment 1403514
It was the 3.6 but eh, it's not a sportscar in any way.
But if there's an example of aging with grace/like a fine wine, the XJ-S is doing it. But it has to be pre-facelift. One of the machines that will find its way into my collection when I win the lottery. But with the V12 because of smoothness.
That's a good looking vehicle in the top pic. And no I don't mean the CybertruckSome screenshots from my dashcam footage.
Caught a R35GTR and a Cybertruck in the same shot.

"Hey, I'm an ecologicaly aware person! I care about climate change!"
Yeah I also thought that someone got something wrong about this called green mobility😀"Hey, I'm an ecologicaly aware person! I care about climate change!"
Yeah right... what do you REALLY do about it?
Well, I drive a freakin gas-powered import which has grass growing on its panels, b*tch!
How's that for ecological awareness!
🤣🤣
This is probably the most "green" car on the whole planet, not only it is painted in green, but it also has grass growing on it!
Nissan Leaf would also work pretty well here 😂(...)
Would’ve been even better if it were a VW Golf because of the grass
That F-Body (it’s Camaro, right?) looks like it belongs to some kind of gang in a post-apocalyptic worldMint condition late 1980s Jetta still on the road, 1-owner car.

Hnnngfhmgggggh (the muffled sound i give out while my brain overheats). So beautiful. And also, it’s the somewhat rare 1972 Ölklappe-model (the only year with an external oil lid, placed on the rear right fender).Porsche 911 T (love that color)
😀yeah it really is a beauty, a timeless shape. Some designs needed time till they reached perfection like the Alpines culminating in the A110 for example, but the original 911 already is perfection, still the best iteration of all 911s stylewise in my opinion.Hnnngfhmgggggh (the muffled sound i give out while my brain overheats). Yes, the gas lid is always on the front left fender, and for 1972 Porsche added an exterior lid for filling oil, placing it on the rear right fender. So is the lid for oil and not for gasoline?
Ha, that’s actually a really interesting fun fact for such a small feature, especially the part with the gas station clerks😀Yes, the gas lid is always on the front left fender, and for 1972 Porsche added an exterior lid for filling oil, placing it on the rear right fender.
This was at a time when the engineers at Porsche had more power than the economists, so to get better weight distribution they moved the oil tank in front of the rear wheel and added this lid for easier access, but also making the production cost slightly higher.
HOWEVER… in 1972 full-service gas stations were common, and as I understand it, quite a few unlucky gas station clerks accidentally and unknowingly filled gas in the oil tank… Apparently gas doesn’t lubricate as well as engine oil. 😬
By model year 1973 Porsche went back to placing the oil filling in the engine bay once again and never went back, making the 1972 model a bit more interesting for collectors and also the easiest 911 to decide what year it is from! 🙂
Every time I see a 944 it makes my mind cast back to a time (couple of decades now), when I was working in a builders yard in North London. Owner of said Porsche had just neatly stacked a pile of bricks he'd just bought, in the boot. However he'd failed to notice he'd stacked them slightly proud of the deck. So you can imagine the horror on his face when he proceeded to slam the glass of the hatch shut. The whole thing shattered into pieces. I felt really bad for the guy in his misjudgement.Speaking of Porsches. Coworker brought in his today.
Im very sorry for that guy, but it’s also hilarious😬😅Every time I see a 944 it makes my mind cast back to a time (couple of decades now), when I was working in a builders yard in North London. I've got to admit although I did feel bad for him, I was shaking my head in disbelief at the same time, to why someone would do something so stupid.Im very sorry for that guy, but it’s also hilarious😬😅
