Ok it doesn’t look that spectacular, and it’s actually based on a Holden, but it’s the rarest I’ve ever seen in the wild, just came across me yesterday (the red sedan):

It’s called Velo Sport from German manufacturer Bitter, according to Wikipedia only ten of these have been built

I thought this was the questionable mods thread for a moment. Great spot, though.

I can’t really say how much it differs from the model it’s based on. It definitely has more power, a different front and a modified chassis. I think everyone has to decide for them selves if this is enough to make it a new car with a different badge on it, for me it does not😅

It looks ok to me, but it doesn’t look like Bitter, I wish they would‘ve produced a sedan with more independent styling like this really cool looking prototype by them:

They have been around a couple of years here in europe, and I feel like I have to make an effort not to get hit by an electrician, handyman or a family with small children driving an ID.Buzz. They are literally everywhere!

Yes. December are first deliveries. I liked it since the sketches. Really cool in the metal.

Yeah that Volvo 780 is pretty rare, especially in Japan I would guess, they build something in the 4 digits, been build by Bertone btw.
And absolutely agree on the LC500, one of the most elegant modern designs in my opinion.
Seeing 4 Century’s is also crazy, this is something I think you will never see outside of Japan.

Great sightings, that Isuzu is pretty rare too as far as I know.
But that Fiat 500 Vignale tops it all for me, I would never expect to see something like this on the streets😮

My random recent spots while going on a trip this past week:

I saw some rusty old vehicles by a Gas Station.

60s Ford F-Series with a car behind it that looks like it's from the 40s, plus I'm guessing a 60s Dodge Wagon.

Another 40s car next to this truck. It looks like someone decides to mesh a stepside pickup body to a 90s Ford Ranger.

1960s Dodge D-Series truck, a Chevrolet Corvair, and I think another Dodge D-Series truck behind that.

It doesn't scream "Ferrari" because it's missing the "iconic" red coat of paint on it.
It's one of the very few manufacturers were a specific color became strongly associated with their cars, although they did paint their cars in more colors than just red...

And, to add to that, there's a bazillion SUVs from all shapes, sizes and brands on the road nowadays so... can't really blame your wife

When I was coming up on the dealerships, from the front 3/4 like below, I knew what it was.

I couldn’t believe it was parked on the street(if it were someone visiting the dealership group park it off the street). Its front fascia is distinctive enough in a crowd, even in that color. However, no doubt from the rear it just blends in.
