5 cabriolets (6 including the Hummer) in a single day? That is either lucky or just a plain common sight....Well good work Doug. 👍

Speaking of Colours that Gallardo Spyder looks great in Rosso Leto!👍

EDIT:Theres a 911 Roadster in the backround on the Quattroporte shot.

Thanks all for the kind words!

Just a standard 996 C2 with some body mods. Trust me, if I photographed every 911 I saw, it'd take you a month to get through my posts. Regarding the 996, I only photograph the GT2 and GT3. And the GT1 I guess!

Marauder, these things are becoming less and less common around here:

A M3 with a body kit on it...anyone know the story? Is it a BMW option?

im wondering where all the AA vans are though.....

Let's see Knockhill top that.:sly:

Well Croft is my local circuit really, but there's pretty much nothing there and the facilites aren't great.

I actually drooled over the Alpines, especially the A310, GT4 really doesn't do that car justice... Excuse me I have to go clean up the drool

like this? theres also a zonda,CCX engined CC8S and a couple of XJ220's around that knockhill area as well.

Lemme know when the R27 turns up. :sly:

I'm sure you could find plenty of exotica on a track day at Donnington, but the whole event was basically a promotion for Renault.

That said, there were also Venturis, Alpines and DeLoreans.

Can't imagine that many 400GT's have turned up at the 'hill.

Ladies, put the handbags away. You've both spotted some exceptional cars at track meets, so be happy with that.

Though I must congratulate Danny on the Toyota Estima spot, with the sunroof open aswell.

I hear ya. I never see them around here anymore, and when I do, its always a treat. There is a maroon Marauder around here that I see from time-to-time (along with a semi-rare teal/blue GTO), and that is always a treat.

@Danacroniosm:

Thanks for the wonderful photos! Has Brad mentioned that he loves the Renaults but is very upset that he can't see them? Yes, very upset indeed...

(I wansteh Renaultsport Megane!)

Is it true the graphics on the front of the RenaultSport (or is it the F1?) Megane bumper screw up number plate recognition systems?

Someone should let Clarkson do it after he got out of that speeding ticket with Alfa Romeo...

I think the Ferrari 612 looks horrific in it, and I don't think the 612 looks horrific in general.
Well, it's decent, but I get your point. I, myself, LOVE IT in that blue they showed for its press release.

n38505333_31653983_857.jpg

That one certainly isn't. The only bodykits you can own as a BMW Option, A.K.A. while still under warranty, are the Sport/Performance Kits, or modifying through AC Schnitzer. Anywhere else voids the warranty.
You sure you didn't miss the Questionable Mods thread?
He did post a TVR, so he gets some credit for that. :)

so you happened to miss the FXX i posted at knockhill a while back and the Ferrari F1 car? you would be surprised what turns up at knockhill considering it is basicly the only "proper" race track in scotland.

Does it really matter? As far as I'm concerned, you guys were at race tracks which is pretty much categorized as the samething as me going to the dealers. If we were still following the guidelines Giles set, none of our photos would count, but no one really cares.

However, even though it's now acceptable to post pics from anywhere, it's 1 thing to start saying stupid things like, "I saw this Venturi." "Yeah? Well I saw a FXX." "Yeah, I saw..." yadda yadda yadda.

Post the pictures, fine, but don't make posts where it looks like you're about to start a pissing match. You guys are at race tracks....

You'll see better stuff at my local race track.
these were in the expensive car park, not part of the event taking place.

I could include the ferraris that WERE part of the event but that'd be unfair seeing as there were 378 of them.
