Not all Cobras had side-exit exhausts. I'm not sure how you can tell how the body looks fiberglass either :odd:

It has a roll bar whic only came with the 427 which in turn had a side exhausts. And it looks like fiberglass body because of the fender.

So even as I sit and type this, I can here various engine notes in high rev, It's a nice sound.

Weird looking Morgan

Oh oh, if I only had my camera with me today, I would have the best post on this page.

I'm pretty sure the Cobra is a kit too, but still very rare for HK. More great spots from the Big Smoke there NISM0!

love that Castrol bike!

And kamui, if that's your girlfriend in your avatar, I hate you.

...MkII 289:

The car in question certainly isn't a 'period' Cobra - the slightly oversized Halibrands and more modern lower profile tyres are testament to that. But it does have all the hallmarks for it to be a Autokraft 'continuation' MKIV S/C which ran a 302.

*edit*

Infact i'm willing to bet it's this very car.

Oops... Hah! That's my mate's photo and I was there that very day. Didn't think to cross-check the license. Thanks!

I think I prefer the Toyota IQ better

Without a doubt.

Shiny Megane - really like these!

Never ever take photos of the Cayman as they're just everywhere, but this one looked very clean...

Nice detective work Cracker! Don't think we've had many (if any at all) authentic cobras in this thread, continuation or not.

Tomorrow is my last full day, so hopefully it'll be a big one.

I noticed you missed the Bentley C-GT two cars to the left of the 2CV. Great photos, though.

They're were three right around that car. They are so common here, I don't even notice them to be honest.

Are these all really in Michigan? When I visited Detroit and Lansing for a few days all I saw were GM and Ford cars. So CTS-V, Corvette, and Mustang

Ferrari and Rolls

That just shows how HUGE the Rolls is, and the Ferrari isn't exactly a small car!

Good luck with the spotting tomorrow.

These are London spots :sly:

I can't prove the older ones, but I can and will try to get pics of the neighborhood ones.

In my neighborhood:
-Jaguar XJ
-Porsche Panamera
-Assorted A6s, BMW's, etc.

Past encounters:
-Bentley Mulsanne: Owned by a Portland Trailblazer, parked in the Nike Employee Store parking lot. I only know who it was because I was going to admire it, until I saw the guy was in it :ouch:
-Nissan GT-R: Just saw it on the street. Near Nike campus.
-Other Bentley, Type Unkown: Was driving out of an old person apartment complex. Didn't see it for long enough to ID it.
-(Maybe) R8: Drove past it while I was at the beach. Barely saw it for half a second :(
-DB9: Was on vacation near Californian border, saw it on a car-carrier along with what looked like a guys car collection. Would have snapped a pic, except I was a bit busy driving.

One rediculous story that I doubt any of you will believe, but I swear it happened anyways: My dad was walking down the sidewalk on Nike campus, and was nearly run over by Phil Knight driving his R8. I guess since Phil owns the place, he doesn't need to follow the 14.5 MPH rule. Yes, Nike campus has a speed limit of 14.5

Oregon is not the perfect place for car-spotting. I do see a lot of Dodge Challengers, however. Strange....
